Cedar Lodge - Rustic Mountain Retreat with Fire Pit & Deck

As you pull into the private entrance of the Cedar Lodge you will be inspired by the whispers of the babbling brook running through the property. This four bedroom and two bath home with two separate living areas is gorgeously decorated in a rustic theme. As you enter the home you are greeted by an enormous two sided decorative fireplace surrounded in beautiful stone. The fully equipped modern kitchen with dining area is lined with floor to ceiling windows that is sure to allow you to catch a glimpse of the area wildlife as you start your day off at the Cedar Lodge. The spacious living areas with hardwood floors are the perfect places to grab a book, watch your favorite television show, or just relax with the family. The first floor also offers a bedroom, bathroom, laundry area and stone bar. The upper level of the home is accented with beautiful hard wood floors featuring three bedrooms and a full bath. The natural stone and rustic wood interior throughout the home is sure to put your mind and body at ease. After an adventure filled day in Ohiopyle the backyard is the perfect place for your group to unwind! The Stony Fork Creek borders the property and offers serene seating areas on the property. There is a roomy deck which overlooks the backyard and hosts a large picnic table and charcoal grill for outdoor entertaining! There is also a stone fire pit and horseshoe area for your guests to unwind and get that ringer!! This property is dog friendly. Max of 2 dogs * Additional flat fee is charged per pet, if needed, after we receive your signed Rental Agreement. A stay at the Cedar Lodge is sure to create lasting memories for your entire group.

Great Stay in PA!!

Property was great! Good space outside for activities, including hot tub and fire pits. Close to many other outdoor activities. Would stay again if our travels brought us this way.

Family Fun

We enjoyed the huge house and property. The children played in the bubbling brook for hours . There are so many things to do in the area. We went whitewater rafting and also went Cucumber Falls and the natural water slide. The natural slide was the hit for the family. There was a few things I wanted to note. One of the remotes were gone upstairs and also the door was scratched up before we got there. It would be nice to have more than 2 towels for the kitchen. Otherwise the house was great the kitchen was stocked with plenty of pots pans utensils and dishes. Lots of towels to use on outdoor fun too.

We had a great time at Cedar Lodge. The yard, firepit, and creek were perfect for playing and relaxing. The house was cute and convenient to all activities we wanted to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall great property! Could have used a dishwasher as it is a house that accommodates 12 people….lots of dishes to do! Loved the Christmas tree set in place for us - gave the weekend a great Christmas vibe!

This house was clean, comfortable, and bigger than it looks. Nice flat yard, easy to find, and evidence of some recent improvements all made our stay very enjoyable.

Decent Time

Clean property, great location, good wifi. Poor water pressure and soft, but very typical of a well water system. Needs some TLC, the coffee maker trips the breakers in the kitchen. Some of the drawers need help.

White water rafting trip.

Outstanding trip, enjoyed caverns, whitewater rafting, Fallingwater and nature. House was well equipped, clean and a perfect place to eat and rest between activities. Hot tub added to the relaxing time with friends and family. Also there is a great park that we enjoyed for disc golf and pickleball. Cedar lodge made a perfect home away from home.

Great olace for family to stay while attending nearby wedding

We had 7 people stay and get ready for a wedding at Fernstone. Plenary of room Perfect for our dogs too. Great hot tub! Got a nice walk in Saturday morning on side road.

Memorial Day / 10 year anniversary getaway

We loved this beautiful lodge that had something for everyone. We were able to relax and play in the creek everyday and was surprisingly warm for this time of year. Our dogs loved their long walks in the big yard. Everyone found a comfortable bed and slept well. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This was our 2nd time booking this house, we absolutely love it there and we’re happy to see some updates they have made to the house to make it even better! The house was decorated for Christmas which added such a warm and cozy feel. Def recommend and we will be back!

Graduation weekend

An oasis in the Pennsylvania woods

Our family enjoyed our ten day stay at Cedar Lodge. The house is nestled in the woods with beautiful and ample yard space. Our grandchildren eenjoyed running around outside and climbing down to the creek. OVR promptly handled two calls that needed attention. They were very nice to work with.

Second time staying at this property. The only downfall is the fireplace inside is no longer allowed to be used which kinda sucks but it was great otherwise. Loved the hot tub n so did the kids. Will stay again :)
