When we arrived, we found the hotel doors chained closed. Someone was walking through and told us the hotel had closed a month ago. We we never informed by either the hotel or Expedia that it had closed. Fortunately, I had not prepaid. The hotel must not have informednthe third party partners of its closing. So we had to find another hotel for our stay. This should NEVER have happened!!!

The room was right next to a highway, wall paper was peeling, weeds grew in the front of the room, screens were patched up, the neighborhood was sketchy, so we placed a chair in front of the door.

It was just okay. Very outdated for $200 Canadian/night. It did the trick as a quick rest stop on our roadtrip but most likely wouldn't stay again unless management did some major updates. I will say everything was pretty clean in the room, but the smell in the hallways was a bit gross. Not sure where that was coming from. Overall, it was alright and if you can find the right price then it does the trick for one or two nights.

First room smelled like sewage so we moved into another one. This one just smelled like stale smoke. The noise from the highway was loud, the building is very outdated. The pool was nice and was the only saving grace. No idea how this place got a 8/10 review.

The hotel property is outdated and showing significant signs of wear. The interior corridors have a musty odor. The area surrounding the property didn't seem overly safe, and I worried about my vehicle being parked outside. The location next to the interstate made it very noisy as well. Overall, the hotel seemed clean, although old. The breakfast was satisfying. Staff were nice. The outdoor pool was a nice feature, but the water was frigid. The indoor pool temperature was pleasant, but there was so much grass in it from people bringing it in from the outdoor pool area. Hot tub was decent. The hotel was okay for a quick stop-over, but we do not plan to stay here again.

Upon arrival our room stunk like sewer gas the floors were not vacuumed there were oranges left in the refrigerator and stunk to high heaven and one of the towels that were rolled was dirty! The most discusting was the big ole mouse turds along the refrigerator!!!! I will NEVER stay here again!!!

This property was old and the owner doesn’t appear to be investing in keeping it up. Our room had an awful smell like eggs had rotted in the fridge. The ice machine did not work.

My family loves this place. It has a restaurant and bar, inside pool outside pool. Courtyard outside that's very pretty. The breakfast if hot with waffles, eggs, meat, potatoes, besides all the cold food too. So easy to get to, right off I-29 and centered in the middle of town. Convenient to stores, restaurant's etc.
