"The room was so noisy that you couldn’t sleep there. Vibration like you’re in the middle of a jumbo jet. The front desk couldn’t give less care if they tried. Ended up just going to the Holiday Inn express to get a good nights sleep. If you care at all about your experience or the quality of the room, just keep. And this is when I booked a King suite. Just an awful hotel with awful people."

"I'd read reviews, hoped it wouldn't be that bad... Office rarely open, communication is cryptic and preregistration and check-in are archaic and frustrating. Area where lock box located is VERY poorly lit - needed flashlights. I'd not been sent lock box code so I texted the number posted. They replied with code, inside box was no packet with my name. I texted back inquiring, 'Please look for #XX, we do not put actual guest names on packets for security', I replied, there is no envelope with #XX, which alias did you use for me, how would I know that? They replied, with a different unit number. We located packet and sent pic highlighting new unit and asked if this was correct... No response, crickets! We found the unit, stayed the night - 6:53 am received a text explaining "this is not a 24 hr text line, normally only manned during business hours. Were you able to find the unit?" SHODDY operation. Next day we were texted, 'power outage expected, plan accordingly.' Temp was 50 degrees, we lost power at 9:01 am, power restoration expected 3-4 pm. Older neighbor knocked on our door, he had no clue, as no one had communicated. I inquired if they would provide wood for fireplace, nope, they were not able to provide ANY compensation, "it's like losing power at your home". They’re older units, nothing fancy, clean if desperate, but DO NOT STAY HERE! Units are far off main road and not convenient to get in/out of resort."

"We recently stayed at this lake house with a large group of 15 people. Overall, the location itself was wonderful, and the property had plenty of space for everyone to gather together while still having room to spread out when needed. The fishing nearby was a big hit, especially at Little Flipper Pond, and our youngest especially loved the playset. The home definitely has great potential and could be an amazing stay with some updates and repairs.Unfortunately, there were several maintenance issues during our visit that impacted the experience. Upon arrival, we discovered a shower had been leaking for some time, and there was water throughout the basement area. The owner did come promptly to cap the shower, which we appreciated, but that left our large group with one less shower for the weekend. Afterward, we also discovered the toilet in that same bathroom appeared to be leaking as well.The master bathroom shower had extremely low water pressure and only trickled water out, and the tub handles were very loose. The upstairs hall bathroom had great water pressure, but the fan near the shower was not working. In the downstairs powder room, it also appeared there may have been water leaking under the sink.Because of the water issues, the basement had a very strong bleach smell, which made it difficult to comfortably use that space during our stay. We also noticed mold in the utility closet and game room area. A few other maintenance concerns included a broken pull-out couch"
