  • Enjoy a cozy retreat to this newly remodeled studio cottage in a quiet lake neighborhood, just a short walk to public boat launch and hiking trails and easy drive to hiking trails and skiing. Open concept 425 sq ft studio layout with new finishes, from walls and flooring to all appliances and amenities:

    + King size bed and convertible sleeper sofa. Sleeper measures 70" x 40" and has a weight capacity of ~300 lbs.
    + Full size kitchen with new appliances and quartz countertops
    + Curl up in the living area to enjoy the 55" Roku Smart TV
    + Bathroom features walk in rain shower and is stocked with towels, hair dryer and toiletries. Washer/dryer in unit.
    + Private outdoor patio with fire pit, Adirondack chairs and comfortable sectional perfect for lounging under string lights or enjoying the private yard where deer graze almost daily
    + Calming lake neighborhood on quiet dead end road with ample evergreens
    + Easy, free on site parking
    + Walking distance to public waterfront and boat launch and Preston-Snoqualmie biking and hiking trail head

Awesome vacation spot

This property could not have been better suited for what my wife and I wanted to do for our 6 days in Washington. First of all, it was spotless with all the amenities that we could want. Beautiful property and close to many small mountain towns and great hikes. Christie also gave us a great suggestion on how to do a day trip to San Juan island. It was a 10 out of 10!

Lake Alice area cottage

Great cottage, well appointed and superb attention to all the details. The recently finished front and back flagstone patios were perfect. Back patio was private with a fire pit and faced a forest with mature cedar trees. Hope to be back soon with my paddle board, lake Alice is beautiful and public boat launch is half mile down the road.

A little slice of heaven

Property as described in the listing, and was absolutely perfect for our needs. Comfortable and cozy. When there are just two people, 400 sq ft is plenty of room. I especially appreciated that the kitchen was spacious enough for both of us to be in there at the same time - that was definitely an unexpected bonus! Hosts are friendly and helpful!

The cottage has all the amenities I could have hoped for and everything was spotless. It was decorated with a soothing color scheme, the bed was super comfortable, and there was a rain shower shower head. Christie went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at this cottage. It is immaculately clean with beautiful construction/decorations, the little extras like laundry, soaps, shampoos, hair dryer, etc are a nice touch. It is in a more rural area but that is what makes it so wonderful, the road up to this cottage is a beautiful drive but quick access to larger areas for shopping, etc. Close to the falls and walking paths. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful if needed. I will stay there again if I am back in the area.

Relaxing Respite from Golf Tournament Volunteering

The stand alone studio was new, well set up and stocked with coffee, spices, laundry soap, and other amenities that in some properties you have to bring. The setting is quiet, lovely with a stone patio outfitted with chairs and fire pit for evening lounging. The proprietors were very helpful and available for any questions. After long days working at a golf tournament this was a welcome place to spend the evening.

Beautifully done

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights as our base camp for exploring Seattle, Mt Rainier, and Snoqualmie and even caught a Mariners came. The cottage was so clean and well laid out and it was everything we needed. My favorite was the Nespresso machine and now I need to buy one. The all in one washer dryer was so convenient to press a button and wake up to clean dry clothes. Thank you for making our trip even more special.

Light-filled tranquil cottage

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this beautiful new cottage. This was our retreat each night, as we were in the area for an extended weekend wedding (but we chose not to do the state park yurt/camping experience with the younger wedding guests). The home is well stocked with comfortable, quality furniture and kitchen supplies. We loved all the windows and light. The patio/fire pit area is a nice outdoor extension of the space, and looks out past a lawn to a beautiful bit of forest. Best of all, the hosts had the cottage sparkling clean, and were quick to respond when we ask any details about the lake and area. Gorgeous, comfortable place!
