"The stay at this property was awesome!! The historic property and structure are very unique and provide a wonderful stay. The interior and grounds are really beautiful and we feel lucky to have stayed here. The rooms have everything you need and are clean, quiet, safe and comfortable. Breakfast was really good, too. The owner and her concierge are extremely nice and helpful and I look forward to staying here again in the future. "

"The property is situated in a beautiful location and very close to the airport. The staff was super helpful and kind. Breakfast was delicious. Room was big with great view. I would advise to bring your own toiletries. It only has shower cap and soap. I was prepared so it wasn't a big deal."

"Our room had a patio with sliding doors overlooking the ocean! Gorgeous!!! There is a central kitchen that guests can use to make meals and lots of great places to sit. The staff are amazing. They help to call taxis, provide laundry service and any other help you may need. The owner came by regularly to check on how things were going and was easy to access."

"An overall nice experience for something different. Would stay again. Strengths: Well located with a nice view of Pico and the ocean. Well done appointed rooms with comfortable beds. Amenities such as laundry, drying racks, tea kettles, bikes, and common room. Fresh bread and local cheese were great. Store with many staples. Animals to pet and feed. Opportunities: Noise from nearby construction and operating business plus neighboring dogs was distracting. One egg each for included breakfast."

"The Blue House is wonderful. The owners live next door and do everything to make your stay memorable, it is easy to communicate with them. Great location, right near a new 5 mi walk along the ocean. Plenty of space for everyone, clean fully equipped kitchen with a patio outside. Great ocean views from windows and balcony on a second floor. Good parking. Check the address with the owners before going as Vrbo supplies wrong address."
