The original carriage house to the next door mansion. Originally built in 1896, this Spacious house has several distinct hangout areas, including the newly opened carriage house basement bar. With a large open family, dining, kitchen area on the first floor and an outdoor patio of the back, there is room for the group to spread out or hangout together.

Nice homecoming!

What a pleasant stay! Along with my siblings it made a perfect place for a family reunion. The neighborhood was very quiet and the property managers were very responsive. I would highly recommend this place!

Cozy Stay in a Great Town

Comfy and homey

Is very cozy, the owners have put a lot of work into this home to make it a pleasurable stay. the history of this carriage home and the large white home are very interesting as well as other homes close by. Was nice to be back in Fairmont and drive around and see old memories of when we grew up in the area.

Family visit

This is a beautifully restored historic home in a great neighborhood. Kitchen is well stocked and gorgeous! The Christmas decorations were a wonderful addition. We highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again.

We rented this adorable house to visit some family in town and it was perfect for our needs. We were able to have a decent amount of family come and visit us/come and go as their schedules allowed. Very clean and adorable decor. We will definitely stay again

Carriage House ❤️

Had a fantastic week+ stay at the Carriage House. The home has a wonderful charm and is very unique with touches of old and new. Loved that the kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked with necessities so an immediate trip to the store isn’t required. We would definitely stay there again!

In town for a family wedding

The hosts have done a very thorough and tasteful renovation of this property. It was very well stocked with linens, towels, and kitchen supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay during a family wedding. It was a very good space for hosting a pre-wedding dinner and brunch the next morning. Thank you!

I met my cousin for a girls weekend and we loved the carriage house! It was beautiful and well appointed. We had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable! We would definitely stay there again.

Spring thaw.

Great spot for a group of good friends meeting halfway. Loved the history of the house and surroundings. Walked to town and around the lakes. Plenty of room to spread out, enjoy a good meal, and catch up.

Perfect house

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage house. The house was really clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. We had 4 adults and 3 kids under 13 and there was plenty of room for everyone. The basement was great for the kids. Would definitely book again

Beautiful home full of warmth

This is a beautiful home well done. Parking was a bit odd, however did not hinder our stay , we had a great time, the home was inviting and full of wonderful surprises. Loved it!

In Town for a Wedding

In town for a wedding with the family and friends and we all stayed at this rental. It was really the perfect place to stay. Large with lots of sleeping spaces. It had everything we forgot to bring and was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Great house with a cool history.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House (a genuinely refurbished old 19th century carriage house). The owners were attentive and supplied everything we needed. The house was super with a fresh remodel but retaining its historical charm.
