Bear Creek Cabins

Bear Creek Cabins

8/10 Good
"There was no staff, but we were emailed a door code, which worked. The room was clean, had a hot shower and a fridge, and 2 beds. Elk were outside in the morning along with crows. It was quite close to the highway, but traffic is low at night and didn't wake me up. There are 4 back cabins that face the woods and might have less noise, but no view of the elk. It was well kept up and made us happy."

"We had a great time at the house! The view of the lake was beautiful. The house was clean and cozy and exactly as described. It was a great base for exploring the area. The extensive VHS library was cool and we enjoyed using the grill to make dinners. Would recommend for anyone staying in the area!"

Whiskey Creek Beach Front A-Frame Site 10

Whiskey Creek Beach Front A-Frame Site 10

10/10 Excellent
"The A frame itself was clean, but there was a lot of debris (maybe from fireworks?) down near the boat ramp. There were two other A frames fairly close to where I stayed, and I was hoping for a bit more privacy. However, the sound of the waves completely drowned out any noises, so it felt more private than it actually was. The A frame was well built and held out the rain through a doozy of a thunderstorm, although the door didn’t seal well and let in the cool breeze. Overall, I thought the price was bit high for what I got, but it was still a lovely stay. The foggy view ones evening were lovely and sunset views the next evening were incredible, so I don’t regret the splurge. Unfortunately, I didn’t get photos of the A frame itself, but I will attach some of the views on the property."

Peaceful lake house nestled in the Olympics on beautiful Lake Sutherland

Peaceful lake house nestled in the Olympics on beautiful Lake Sutherland

10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Mark and Natalie’s beautiful home 8/9/26 - 8/15/26 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The beauty of the area and the stunning views from this home cannot be captured in photos. I would most definitely book this home again and we do plan on returning as there is so much more to explore. Our OH group of 6 had no issues with the septic system, which we have in our own home. The kitchen had plenty of everything we needed for the three days we cooked and/or grilled. The steps down to the water might be a lot for someone not in shape, but was not an issue for our group (ages 23-58). It was even warm enough for us to jump in the lake. The water is very clear! We were even treated to two beavers swimming by one early morning. This was a great location to visit all of the park, as well as a 20 min drive to Port Angeles. We visited and hiked Hurricane Ridge, Hoh Rainforest, Sol Duck Valley, Crescent Lake area, and two of the Beaches, one with some beautiful tidal pools like I’ve never seen before. It was magical. The NY style pizza at Dead Low Pizza in Port Angeles was amazing (meatball was the best!). We walked around to various shops one afternoon and visited the wharf. Next time we plan on a whale watching tour and kayak rental for the lake. We just ran out of time! 10/10 for location, beauty, peacefulness, cleanliness, communication, amenities and large space. Thank you Mark and Natalie!"

"Beautiful location in the woods and close proximity to the beach. Charming cabin that had great amenities. The bedroom was sufficient but very tight quarters. Quiet and lovely relaxing stay overall. We walked to the beach and saw a seal playing peek a boo with us in the waves."
