The property was very clean and beautiful in its own way, however I was expecting it to be a little more glamorous perhaps a sparkling chandelier and more glitter. I felt the appearance was average but most definitely very clean. Also I would like to add the food could be a little warmer and mangoes I thought would be served with breakfast not with dinner. I did enjoy my stay and would return. I have stayed at the Riu franchise several times before but my first time at The Riu Palace Aquarelle.

Loved the Jamrock dining and our hostess was great!
Overall we had a great time but a lot of minor issues that prevented it from being an amazing experience; lack of communication between staff, fire alarm triggered by showers and slow service with restaurants
