The host was very accommodating and helpful! Our stay was fantastic and the Chalet was great. We would absolutely stay here again. So close to the ski slopes you can see them from the deck.
Beautiful view and easy access to ski slopes. Spent evenings relaxing and fun in the hot tub overlooking the mountain scenery. Not to mention a few competitive games of corn hole on the deck. Fun was had by all in our large group.
We had a group of 10 from Maryland and Virginia that came up for the weekend to do some skiing at Liberty. You can’t beat the location of this house! You can see the ski lift lights from the front porch and it is probably a two minute drive. The house was very clean with plenty of space for our entire group. Kari very responsive! We will be booking again next year!
I was nervous upon arrival at the property as the drive was a steep incline I wasn’t aware of , however, I managed to get my car parked at the top. The stairs to enter were another surprise z& challenge but I got ip & inside. The house inside was similar to the photos. We found 1 bedroom had safety issues however, we were easily able to contact the owner & we adjusted our sleeping arrangements for the first night until repairs could be made the next day.the wall & window air conditioners were sometimes difficult to adjust for comfortable, steady temperature however, we communicated with owner & managed. Location of house was great for the areas we were visiting. 2 of the 3 showers were a bit tight for our family but we managed. This was our annual family get together & enjoyed having a house to be together & close to the attractions we wanted.
Location was great, super close to Liberty for skiing. House layout was great; kids took over downstairs and adults slept upstairs. Host was responsive.
This was a great spot for a meetup between two families. The kids loved the bunk room, the adults loved having lounge areas on two floors, and we all loved the hot tub. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed!
This home had it all. 4 very comfortable bedrooms, 2 common areas, a well stocked kitchen and a hot tub! Very fun place to spend a few ski days. Terrific location-just over a mile to Ski Liberty but could actually see the slopes from home. Everything as described. Highly recommend. Will definitely return!
Really enjoyed our stay at this spacious cabin. Check in/out was a breeze. Very well stocked kitchen supplies and tons of sleeping space. The main complaint for me is the number of cameras overlooking most of the porch area. I understand the purpose but it felt excessive and intrusive.
Our second time back to this updated property with ample space for 3 couples and 4 kids in a shared bunk room. 2 min to ski school drop off. Tons of light to bask in winter sun. All tvs easy to log in as smart devices. Easy contact with owner Kari. We will be back!
This property is in a great location, and has potential to be a nice place to stay. Unfortunately, especially given the current times, the property was not cleaned to usual VRBO standards. We found multiple used toiletries left behind in the showers, bathroom drawers, etc. My sister found someone else's hair on her sheets. It just could have been better cleaned prior to our arrival.

Owner Nightmare
Owner accused us of breaking a chair, a banister, and leaving the places a mess. Fortunately we took pictures of everything after we cleaned to prove otherwise. Also we accidentally parked 1 too many cars in the driveway, which we quickly moved when informed, but she came and took pictures and was an extremely aggressive communicator. House wasn’t bad but did have ants and overall somewhat musty. Fine place to stay, but owner is the definition of a Karen and would strongly advise avoiding her.

When we walked in the house we noticed a musty smell, it was the worst in the basement. There was a dehumidifier on this floor that we emptied during our stay, The dryer quit working, the fan in the bedroom quit working. The coffee pot on this floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned. There was booze laying on the microwave and still in the cups that were sitting there. A breaker tripped while using a hair dryer. The water to the fridge wasn't hooked up so the water dispenser and ice maker didn't work
We were 2 families that just wanted to get away for a long weekend and allow a fun, learning experience for ourselves & our kids in Gettysburg. That's exactly what we did. The house was just what we needed, with enough space for us to spread out when needed and come together to play a board game or watch a movie together to relax in the evening after a long day of learning. The kids loved basically having the basement and it was nice for the adults to have some space on the main levels. The house is beyond supplied with whatever you could need. In case you're wondering (because I was) there it's a large Crock-Pot/slow cooker in the kitchen, a standing mixer, a toaster oven, 2 fridge/freezer (1 in the basement) and 2 drip coffee makers with plenty of filters. The outside decks and grounds are beautiful and cared for. The kids tried to use the hot tub the first night but the chlorine smell was too overwhelming, so we nixed that and they didn't ask again, so I can't further comment on that, but clearly it was clean and looked very nice. The only other "issue" we had was just the lighting on the main level; we wanted to eat and play boardgames together with the kids, but the eating area was too dark so it wasn't great for that. This certainly didn't ruin our experience, we just adapted. We would stay again.
This property exceeded our expectations. It is nestled Into the Woods, yet close to activities. We were in Gettysburg in under 20 minutes and past a ski resort that would be only 5 minutes or less away. The hot tub and other amenities added to the relaxing atmosphere. I believe we will visit again!
High school girls reunion weekend. So fun. Perfect place to catch up. We could all set around the table together, enjoy the hot tub and have lots of laughs.
Our group of 8 really enjoyed the roominess and comfort of this home. All the amenities were there. We had 4 grandparents of which 2 had a slow go with all the stairs. Not a huge issue but once in the house, you either send the extra set of family up or down. We really liked sitting on the lower deck by the hot tub! Kids played ping pong and corn hole games. The beds were comfy and the large dining area was perfect. My only suggestion would be a deep cleaning of all the knick knack items or just remove a lot of them. Hagerstown, MD outlet stores had great discounts over 4th of July weekend. Fireworks were plentiful! We enjoyed an early dinner at Taverna 5450 just down the hill. Downtown Gettysburg is cute and quaint.
