Clean, quiet hotel for a one night stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, nice variety and hot and fresh. Dining area clean. Near several country cooking type restaurants. The pool looked nice but obviously closed for the season.

Not sure how this hotel received a good rating, which is the reason my spouse picked it. Any star achieved should be credited to the front desk and breakfast staff.

Unfriendly desk clerk

It was a great stay. We arrived at 2pm thinking we would be able to check in early since we had a party to attend at 3. The desk clerk was not cordial - very unfriendly and was not willing to accommodate. She said NO rooms were available until 3. I asked her if all rooms would be available at 3 and she said yes. I find it hard to believe that magically all rooms in the hotel would be ready at once.

Expected Better

Check in and out couldn't have been easier and the breakfast room was large and comfortable, though breakfast was pretty basic. However, it seems like little thought was given to basic room design: no towel bars or night light in the bathroom, insufficient outlets at the desk, and the only outlets bedside the king bed were all on the left side - none at all on the right! The desk chair's left arm rest was broken and its faux leather was peeling off. We managed, but for the price, expect better than this.
