"This place was heaven! Even as we were driving into the property my jaw was dropped at the beauty of the forest leading you there. Marianna was our host at check in and was so warm…. personable, professional and informative. She really made our first losing experience in the Azores so comfortable and wonderful. The accommodations are top tier, as well as the food. Both the breakfast spread and dinners were exceptional. We didn’t have a chance to try the afternoon snacks but I’m sure that’s amazing as well. The spa and pool were perfect and we had the place to ourselves most of the time so it felt like a little private oasis. This was truly an experience for all the senses… I will be dreaming about it until we hopefully return some day!"

"Our stay at the Ribeira das Tainhas was nothing short of excellent. From the beginning we had excellent communications with the host, Pierre. During our stay he helped in arranging in house massage, chartering a private boat and searching for a private chef. The house was child friendly, and we made use of the beautiful pool daily. Upon arrival, Pierre, had cheese, bread, fruit and a bottle of wine to welcome us. It was greatly appreciated after a long travel day. We were able to arrange early check in and with toddlers, and this was greatly appreciated. Most major sites to visit are within a 30 minute drive with the longest being an hour away. There are beaches close by and a great boardwalk for running or strolling. The supermarket and ATMs are close by and easily accessible. Pierre ensured that everything we wanted was accessible and as a result we had an unforgettable family vacation for my wife, myself, our children and grandchildren. We will be forever grateful for our time spent in Sao Miguel and choosing this property."
