"We had a bloody hand towel, and I don't mean that how British people would mean that. I mean red human blood on a hand towel. Water pressure was terrible. There was a fire alarm that went off while they were testing the system and they didn't realize the alarm went off on all hotel floors. My wife and I ran down the stairs from the 8th floor and it was business as usual in the lobby. Also, from that stair well the exit to the street was not clearly marked. This is a real safety issue. Other than that, the hotel was actually nice and walkable to several destinations including the Capitol Building. "

"This accommodation smelled terribly of cigarette smoke and marijuana. The AC thermostat was broken, could not be turned from the off position to on. The glasses in the cabinets were dirty. There were no hooks or handles in the bathroom to hang towels. The carpet going up the 2 flights of stairs was old, dirty, and stained. There is no onsite parking, it’s metered street parking. I booked 3 nights. I left after the 2nd night and paid for a different accommodation the last night because it was so terrible. The only redeeming factor is proximity to The Cork and Fork restaurant and the capital. "
