"My husband and I spent five nights of our honeymoon at this amazing property and it greatly exceeded our expectations. The home is so charming and the location can’t be beat. It’s close to several small villages and only 30 minutes from Calvi. We really enjoyed our evenings in the hot tub and the views from the deck, as well as falling asleep to the sounds of the stream. "Nice, basic apartment with everything you'll need for your stay. The highlight for us was the lovely garden area with spectacular views of the Calanche. There's also access to a very nice swimming pool area, although there were so many other things to do, we didn't get the chance to use it! You'll need a car for this apartment and it's about a 5 minute drive to Piana which is a beautiful little village with a tourist office, restaurants and also a good supermarket (open every day up to 8pm)....

"A peaceful, private cottage with a lovely countryside feel. Nice sitting area under the shade as well as full sun lounging area. The fig trees were alive with birds and butterflies eating the ripe fruits, on our visit mid-September. Everything we needed was provided, with good kitchen facilities and a comfortable lounge/reading area. Vero has a local bar but seems to be only open in summer months; the Post Office(located in Town Hall) does not provide stamps for the UK. Nearest supermarket is...

"This is a beautifully modernised and well appointed old house in a small village in the foot hills of the mountains in northern Corsica. Chantal the owner was warm and welcoming and very helpful. Small cafe and epicerie (limited stock) close by, where the atmosphere is very convivial (Chez Margot). Be prepared to negotiate narrow, winding roads and to take your time getting anywhere. Calvi, Ile Rousse and St Florent all just over an hour away; St Antonino and other pretty villages near at hand....

"The property was lovely - had 2 beautiful patios for sitting on - one shaded - and for eating out. It was a short walk to the town and the beach. This area of Corsica is lovely too with lots to see and do, so we had a fabulous week and would definitely go back again."

"The views are breathtaking, and the villa is comfortable, both inside and in the pool/deck area. We had to purchase some amenities; the heated pool was not heated and it was too chilly to swim. The roads leading up to the villa are treacherous; drivers must be very confident! It was quite a drive to get to a grocery store, more than ten minutes. We loved the place and the gorgeous views but could not give a five star rating for these reasons--"

Amazing sandy beach with shallow water for kids swimming less than 5 minutes drive away and a couple of the local restaurants, including one within walking distance very good. If you are wanting to get away from it all and experience more rugged Corsica away from the beach resorts, this is an ideal place. "Property was lovely, great views from beautiful terrace, and was well equipped. The property does not have WiFi as advertised which may not be an issue for other European guests but yet another reason why Brexit is rubbish is that UK visitors have to pay extortionate roaming fees. Be aware the optional housekeeping on the advert is not really optional but is a cleaning fee which we were not expecting to have to pay. Otherwise the property is a great location, looks exactly like the pictures and...

"Wir sind vom Vermieterpaar sehr herzlich empfangen worden.Die Wohnung liegt wunderbar ruhig mit eigener Terasse und Garten .Innen perfekt ausgestattet,schönes Schlafzimmer mit Gartenblick,sehr gut ausgestattete Küche ,tolles Bad mit grosser Dusche.Wir haben täglich auf der Terasse gegessen mit diesem schönen Blick auf die grünen Hügel und auf den Berg,der bei Sonnenuntergang fantastisch leuchtet.Die Besitzer tun alles für ihre Gäste,wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Es ist nicht weit nach Ajaccio...
