Oakside Retreat is a private, fully remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home tucked away at the end of a quiet street in Evansville. Surrounded by mature trees, this thoughtfully designed property offers comfort, style, and space to relax—perfect for weekend getaways, family visits, or longer stays.

Inside, you'll find a bright and open layout with modern finishes and stylish furnishings throughout. The spacious living area offers comfortable seating and a Smart TV, ideal for relaxing after a day out. The fully equipped kitchen includes a large island, perfect for meal prep, casual dining, or entertaining.

A detached game room provides plenty of entertainment for all ages. Features include:

Check in was easy, host was very nice and welcoming and allowed us to stay an extra night. The only issue is the game room was filled with bugs and spiderwebs but we cleaned it out and it was alright. Overall amazing stay!

Quick get away

Three ladies getting away for a long weekend found a perfect oasis. This is a beautiful, quiet, property with a large private backyard. Perfect to enjoy time outside with the fire pit, yard games, a cook out. This place looks exactly like the pictures, everything is spotless and looks new. We had no problems getting checked in or out and our host was promptly available to message. We all enjoyed the beds and having our own rooms was so nice to relax. The game room in the garage was a great assess !! What a nice way for us to have fun and activities without spending extra money. We were not familiar with Evansville but found this to be a pretty close drive to everywhere we wanted to go. It was easy to hop on the highway. We are midwesterners, so we are familiar with driving everywhere. Places we ate and enjoyed; Gerst (German food and a fun environment), Pangea kitchen (yummy pizza and deep dish), Big Top drive in (classic old drive in, giant sundaes, yummy burgers and grippo fries), Frankie’s (delicious breakfast), River city coffee (yummy coffee and adorable gift shop). We also enjoyed shopping and walking around by the river. A great meet up place to relax. Would stay again !

Stay was fantastic. A few things to note.-the buckets holding the light poles in the back hold water and will bread mosquitos, you should drill a drain hole in them.-pool table is way out of level-should hang curtains on front door and kitchen window-air freshener in the garage/game roomThese are very small improvements you could make and increase the experience even more.Great place would stay again

This property was better than they described it for our Family. We enjoyed the game room, the beds slept great and it was super stocked with dishes and bedding. Wish the weather was a little warmer to enjoy all the outdoor activities they had on hand. WWould definately recommend!

Perfect for a Girl's Weekend

Our group of 6 enjoyed our overnight stay. It was a quick drive to the Ford Center for a concert. There was a little hiccup with the key code, but the owner was quick to respond and fix the problem.
