"Unfortunately, the property did not reflect the listing. We were hoping to sleep 5, but the 5th spot was a couch and empty air mattress box. The kitchen was very sparse- limited plates and I couldn’t find the pans to cook. The bathroom had a large hole in the ceiling and the bathroom was very dirty. "The owners spent a ton of money remodeling the place and did a good job. We rented it for the holidays but the day before the cleaners noticed a problem and the owners had to call us to cancel our reservation. At first that sounds horrible, but it was not due to their neglect and had they allowed us to stay the result would have been less then great. I am thankful they sacrificed their income to make sure we did not experience a bad rental."

"I stayed in town to care for an ill friend in hospital. I thought I was staying on the lower level of the house. It was actually an upstairs apartment with outside access & steep stairs to take your luggage up. I was hoping the host would be flexible with my check-in and check-out since I was looking for accommodations to sleep during day and leave for hospital in early eve. each day, He was not.
