My husband and I came to visit our daughter at U of O. Perfect location, close to her dorm without feeling like you were on top of campus. Lovely house with lots of space. Well appointed. Would stay again.
Really nice place to stay. We were there during a heat wave and the AC in the house was awesome and saved us. Beds were comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were quite happy with our visit and would love to come back.
Home was very clean, the beds were very comfortable. My grandson woke up and said he slept so good! The home was in a quiet neighborhood on a dead end, we were so surprised how close and easy it was to get to shopping and stores. My family was pleased and comfortable with this home.
Booked for a short stay in Eugene. It was cozy and comfortable. The property had easy check in and check out instructions. The property owner was easy to contact for any issues or needs that could have come up. I would definetly book again ineedaccomidations in Eugene.
My family really enjoyed our stay there. We cooked on the outdoor grill several times, made s’mores in the fire pit, and loved walking in the neighborhood. Hendricks park is close by with trails to hike, and we walked to get ice cream near by at Prince Puckler’s. Erika was great communicating with us throughout.
I was able to book this lovely home for a few night to visit my freshman Duck. It had all the things I thought would make a perfect stay on a wet and cold week.
She and her dorm friends were able to come over for a home cooked meal. They watched a movie by a fireplace and even enjoy some smoores with a fire pit. We also had the chance to use the hot tub and she had a nice bubble bath.
The beds and linens were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked.
It was a lovely home. Highly recommend it!!
Loved the location, the amenities! Great patio we sat out on several times and enjoyed in the great weather. Lovely home with everything we needed for our stay.
We loved our stay. We were there with our kids showing them the University and the house was in the perfect location. Erika was so nice and helpful and the hot tub was the perfect topper to a great house. We would love to stay there again the next time we are in Eugene.
Erika was so accommodating, she was also able to offer us early check-in, which helped us out tremendously. She was very quick to respond to any questions. House was clean and just what we needed. If our daughter decides to commit to UO, we definitely will be back to stay here.
Beautiful home tucked into a quiet spot in downtown Eugene. Within walking distance to campus and in a neighborhood dripping with charm. Comfortable and clean. We loved the well-equipped kitchen and various vignettes in which to spread out in the evening. Erika was a breeze to communicate with. We’d love to stay again on a future trip to the area.
We loved our stay at Erika’s home. We choose this place because it was super close to UO, my daughters top school. About a mile walk down a lovely neighbourhood. If you’re going to tour the school, do yourself a favor and rent the bikes on campus. Home was close to DT, shopping and restaurants. The master suite is downstairs with access to the backyard. Kiddos loved the hot tub and each having their own tv. Loved the modern kitchen( ok I’m actually a little jealous) and was beautifully decorated. If we ever go back to the area we would definitely stay there again! Erikas communication was amazing. Thanks for everything!
Unclean and inaccurately portrayed. Refund denied.
When we arrived, we immediately noticed how unkempt the property looked compared to the pictures. There was an old, empty bottle of alcohol in a bent up, rusty firepit in the front, the garbage cans looked like they hadn't been taken to the street in weeks, the floors were dirty, the bed wasn't clean (including other people's hair and a small pee stain), there was a pill on the coffee table, and a half-smoked joint in a plastic bag in one of the kitchen drawers. The jacuzzi water was opaque and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in several months--not to mention old trash in the backyard. There were plenty of cobwebs that should have been easy to spot, but which had collected weeks of dust and bugs. Peering through the garage windows revealed fallen cleaning instructions, dozens of bedsheets piled into an old armchair, and pillows with mildew. When confronting the owner of the property for a refund after finding the joint, she denied our claims, stating that the cleaning team was required to take pictures of the insides of all the drawers in the kitchen before each stay. I've never even heard of such a protocol. We'd like to see those pictures. We have plenty of pictures of what we saw, timestamped and uploaded to Google Photos at the time of their taking, with location information. We also have location information uploaded to prove we left as soon as we could, staying in hotels for the rest of our vacation. There's so much more to say, but we're out of space in this review.
We had a very comfortable stay at this cute house. I would stay here again with a small group of all adults (no kids, no seniors). The narrow, sloped driveway with a big drop-off to the yard would have been a bad idea if we had had anyone with us with with mobility or balance issues. I slept like a rock in the downstairs master bedroom and loved the on-suite bathroom, but the stairs going up and down were very steep. Sadly we didn’t get a chance to use any of the outdoor spaces (hot tub, backyard with a fire pit, deck off the kitchen) because the air quality was terrible while we were in town. While at the house we enjoyed the beautiful decorating, comfortable furniture, views out the windows (such a pretty neighborhood), and all the up-to-date appliances (e.g., huge washing machine, quiet dishwasher, ice/water in the door of the fridge/freezer). We worked from “home” one day with one person upstairs and one person downstairs in the office with the door closed. This house worked well for 3 people, but I think it might have felt crowded/noisy with a larger group because the two indoor gathering spaces (living room and kitchen table) are right next to each other. Five stars because we had everything we needed and were happy to get back to the house each evening.
This home is absolutely charming with wonderful outdoor space to gather when the weather is nice. Extremely clean when we arrived, the hot-tub had already been pre-heated for our stay. The location is perfect for university access, especially the new Hayward Field. Though the place can sleep 8 the house would feel crowded with that many people. There is only one main gathering space and seating is limited in the living area. The host is very responsive, check in was a cinch and I felt confident that if we needed anything it would be taken care of. We will look here first when we visit Eugene again.
Adorable home and IDEAL place to enjoy our weekend with our daughter at University of Oregon.! Blows away ANY overpriced hotel in town, will definitely recommend to other Duck families!
We had an amazing stay! Excellent location! Lots of charm. The home was well stocked and had we needed. Communication and accommodations with owner was first class! We will return next time we are in the area. Thank you so much!
We had a lovely time staying here for a long weekend , the pictures are accurate as the house is adorable! Looking forward to staying here again sometime soon. Wonderful location too, easy to walk to the Univ. of Oregon and all the restaurants nearby. Super close to the golf course as well.
