"Pros: Surroundings (green, nature) is lovely. Super friendly host. Big house, the upper house is all yours which is very big! Big kitchen, well supplied. Very clean. Animals all over, for the kids (and me!) really amazing. A path through the woods to get there, which made it even more special. Comfortable stay. Good WiFi. So much peacefulness everywhere, we really enjoyed it. Stayed there for 2 nights, this could easily have been 4 :)"

"This is a very old house, with old furniture - it is well kept. It has a new clothes washer and dishwasher. The clothes washer leaked under the sink, and the owner came to try to fix it. It was pretty clean, although there were a lot of ants in the kitchen. There’s no air-conditioning, obviously, and it was very hot - it is hard to cool the house now unless you leave all the windows open, and there are no screens, so then a lot of flying insects come in. En revanche, le tarif de près de 130 €/nuit sans petit-déjeuner nous a paru élevé au vu des prestations : le quartier manque d'intérêt et l'équipement de la chambre est sommaire (aucun plateau de courtoisie, juste un mini frigo vide). Une bouilloire ou une machine à café auraient été bienvenus."

"Limited community before arrival- no on site staff at all so a code was needed to access both the building and the room but worked all okay. Absolutely no WiFi- I WhatsApp messaged and was told they would be fixing it, sadly didn’t happen. Only stayed for 1 night so was okay for what we needed. The town however was amazing!"

"This is a roadside hotel attached to a restaurant with some nice areas to sit and relax. The owner and staff were super friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean. There was no air conditioning, but they provided two fans that did the job. We spent most of our time visiting Pamplona and Vitoria, so we mainly used the hotel as a place to sleep. Overall, we had a very good experience at Aritzalko. Recommended!"

"We had a brief single night stop over at Hotel Dolorea. Booked through Expedia, which seemed to cause some confusion for the staff upon arrival but after some investigation by the staff our booking was found. We booked a shared room for a family of four. Room was air conditioned which was a welcome relieve from the near 40C outside. Room was spacious with a very generous sized bathroom, beds were comfy and water was in the mini fridge. There was no kettle in the room. Room/hotel were accessed using a key code which worked well when returning from an evening meal. A bonus is the private parking in the hotels subterranean car park for 10 euros a night. All in all a good experience, staff were friendly and helpful. Beasain is a delightful town for an evening stroll with some interesting historical features."
