"Our stay at the Victoria House was very pleasant and delightful. The view was spectacular. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The A/C was excellent to come home to. The bathroom was spacious and up-to-date. If you just so happen to see a pear (avocado) on the ground make sure to pick it up and eat it. SOOOOO YUMMY!! The only thing that might be a con is the number of stairs - older legs got a little tired. A little softer towels might be a request for further stays. Much less important...

"​My wife and I recently enjoyed our first visit to St. Croix. It is a fascinating island with so much rich history; we made sure to explore the sights at Fort Frederik and Christiansted, and took in the beautiful views at Point Udall. ​The Buccaneer Resort is a lovely property, and overall, we had a good stay. The atmosphere is very quiet, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the drinks at the beach were fantastic. Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. ​However, there were a few areas where our experience didn’t quite meet expectations. During our dinner at The Terrace, we found the staff to be quite slow and inattentive, even during a slower period. Regarding our accommodations, while the room was generally fine, the beds were quite firm, making it a bit difficult to get a comfortable night's sleep. Additionally, we were disappointed that the air conditioning stopped working entirely on our final night. ​While we enjoyed the beauty of the resort and the island, we hope these service and maintenance issues can be addressed for future guests."
