"Perfect place for a beach get away. White sand beach was just steps away from our cottage. If you love snorkeling, this is the beach to be… swam with turtles, saw stingrays, cuttlefish and even an eel . Such a diverse marine life I did not expect to see. John was very accommodating with every request we made."

They will show u paths and activities that will make ur stay that much special"

"We had a excellent time at the cove. It was centrally located between the boardwalk, the beach, and the docks. Great rooms with extremely comfortable beds. The pool was warmer than the beach in June. It was very refreshing to relax by the pool, read a book and take a dip. Even the shampoo was great. The air conditioner work well and the refrigerator was helpful to have. It looks in better condition than any hotel we saw. Would return in anytime."

"Definitely, a gem on the island. My room was clean, spacious, and my favorite part is the AC put in work! The grounds were well-maintained, and the staff was friendly. My only critiques are the lack of chairs on the actual beach and the lack of umbrellas for the chairs available. Overall, I enjoyed my time there. I would definitely revisit The Fred."

"We enjoyed all the access the Buccaneer had to offer. The beaches are beautiful. The one thing I would do differently is rent a car. Also, I wish the property had access to rent a golf cart if you weren’t golfing. The expense of some of the food was something to plan for or to purchase a meal plan for the next trip. It was a great vacation, overall."

"We stayed eight nights and it was okay. I was shocked by the fact that guests have to pay twenty dollars a day to use an umbrella on the beach, and you only get one free lounger, your travel partner will have to pony up 15 bucks. No coffee maker in any of the rooms. Our sliding glass door to the balcony was broken, and we only had WiFi in our room for about 5 minutes the entire time. The pictures are very inaccurate, the place is in shambles from hurricane damage and it’s a bit depressing when you’re trying to enjoy a vacation. I read that there was construction/renovation happening, but I wasn’t expecting such disarray. On the plus side, it was fun taking the ferry into town and checking out the shops and restaurants. The staff is great and Joan at the front desk was very kind and helpful."
