"Our host was amazing, always promptly responding, providing excellent recommendations and a nice gift basket. Nice house, very clean. Excellent location with immediate access to the beach. Great little cafe and convenience store just a 6 minute walk. Thanks to our host's recommendation we enjoyed amazing seafood meals just a 10 minute drive south in Apulia."

"House is in an unusual neighborhood and was very difficult to find because hand-drawn maps were hard to understand and were in French. Owners are absentee landlords living in France and did not communicate on WhatsApp, as I requested. Tried by email, but owner always used French, not my language! No soap, shampoo, napkins, paper towels, condiments, coffee or tea provided. That being said, place was very clean, spacious (could easily handle 6 people) and beautiful, a few km from beautiful beach....

"We stayed for a night off-season whilst doing the Camino Portuguese. The hotel seems to be mid-upgrade: the room had clearly had a thorough refit with box-new towels. Other parts of the hotel looked a bit more dated, but it was clean and tidy. One thing we were surprised to see was a 4-lane 10-pin bowling alley - a fun diversion for our evening."

"The hotel was only just opening for the season so it is hard to judge. Maintenance men were working on the lift, the pool and on the hotel generally. The staff were helpful and apologetic."
