"We had a wonderful week in this property, set in a beautiful garden with private outdoor eating area and pool in a shared area of the garden. Our host and his wife were very warm and welcoming. Lovely coastline with great walks in all directions. Easy to stay here without a car. Bar 5 mins away with daily fresh bread, supermarket 10 mins walk, and local trains up and down the coast to nearby towns."

The cottage is very well outfitted with everything we needed, the private use of the outdoor area was lovely, and so peaceful. The beaches are very near, as well grocery stores. "An amazing place to stay - an ancestral family home with beautiful grounds and a great outdoor pool. Made very welcome by the owner. Don't expect the trappings of a modern hotel though ( e.g. Air conditioning or modern tech). Some might find it old fashioned but if you like historic houses then you won't find better."
