The area is already safe but after dark you need to key in which is an added bonus. The only minor thing to note is the walls are thin so you can hear noises from outside. The hotel is tucked away in the mountains surrounded by loads of birds, bugs and wildlife. A lovely little retreat to get away from my city life.

The town and surrounding area are very short on restaurants, so if you're someone who enjoys a foodie holiday, you'll need to plan ahead to book dinner reservations while you're out and about. However, the food at Dalt Muntanya is fantastic; it was the best dinner we had on our trip. "
