No warning of wedding on second night. Very noisy guests in the next room on third night, rooms need to be better noise insulated. No one on reception to deal with situation (but it was 2 in the morning)
I have written direct email to the management of the hotel and have received no reply.
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel; I did have dinner there with my family.
Cons: The staff is mismanaging the financials, and overcharging guests.
Location: Mahon is beautiful.

We had a lovely stay - from the drive in down the beautifully manicured yet rustic driveway, the quiet sunny pool, the delicious poolside lunches and evening cocktails under a canapé of trees. The food here is one of the key reasons to book alone. The rooms are of a generous size, are well air conditioned and have all the modern amenities expected. The only disappointment for us was booking a Junior Suite to celebrate our Engagement and being given a room with twin beds - even though we booked a double room and made it clear we were celebrating our engagement. I was told by the receptionist that unless I made a special request for a double bed I couldn't be offered one and was told "this is the room you are getting" - I asked if they could make the bed into a double, like many hotels do, and didn't hear anything back. The staff are quite causal, which suits the boutique hotel vibe, but when your paying on average 350 Euro a night you should expect a high level of service, that at times was missing. This aside - most of the staff were fabulous (especially the restaurant and pool side waiters & housekeeping team). I would absolutely return here as it was a truly relaxing holiday, but maybe wouldn't pay for an expensive room as it didn't offer value for money.
Pros: The quiet rural location, amazing restaurant and pool bar/cafe, beautifully manicured gardens and lovely boutique hotel vibe - only 12 rooms!
Cons: Vibe of hotel could be clarified - it definitely didn't feel like a child friendly hotel, nor was it advertised as such, but was primarily families!
Location: Beautiful location for a quiet getaway - but very close to Mahon (great for a meal out) and beaches/towns like the idyllic Binibeca!
Room was a little small for the price and a single room was ok The breakfast was very boring very basic 3 cheeses on offer and a couple of meats Different breads were OK
