Gem House

Gem House is a great spot to discover all that Erie has to offer. With its proximity to Mercyhurst University, Gannon University Penn State Behrend, and LECOM, Gem House is a perfect spot to stay while visiting a local student or the surrounding attractions. The house is centrally located with easy access to Presque Isle, Waldameer, the Erie Zoo, downtown Erie, and Millcreek Mall. With so much to see and do, you’ll soon see why Erie is also known as the “Gem City.”

While Gem House can sleep 6, it is ideal for couples, small families, or a group of 3 or 4 friends, as it is a cozy, little Cape Cod home.

A very pleasant stay. The property is well maintained and clean. The driveway can be challenging, but was not too bad once you get used to it. I would totally stay here again.

We loved staying at the Gem house for our little mini vacation! The location was absolutely perfect and was so centralized and close to all the activities we wanted to do. We loved having a beautiful back yard for the kids to run around and loved being able to have a bonfire! House was completely stocked with everything we needed, extremely clean, and Glee was amazing to communicate with!

Great Place - Great Experience

Not only if this place clean and well maintained but the owners are very communicative and prompt with responses. It is also very close location wise to just about anything your going to do in Erie! Great stay would certainly stay again!

We had a very nice time at the Gem house in Erie. It was very clean and comfortable. It was easy to get to and was a nicely furnished little place for our weekend stay.

Truly a gem!

We enjoyed our stay, which was centrally located, perfectly appointed, with attention to every need and detail. The home was perfect for our getaway, comfortable, well equipped with everything we could want and the owners were thoughtful, professional and great with communication. We loved staying at the Gem House! The property and home were so beautiful, and conveniently located close to everything we needed! The home was clean and cared for, and we truly appreciate everything that was provided! It made for the perfect long weekend spot for me and a few friends!

It was a clean, cozy gem

The house is located near "everything." It was clean upon arrival and the backyard is big enough to enjoy (let the kids play). The beds are comfortable and the washer and dryer work well.

Great house in a convenient area

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and well taken care of. There were nice added touches with blankets, cozy socks, and snacks. We visited numerous places throughout the area, and all were very convenient to the house. We plan to bring our kids with us next time over the summer.

Wonderful stay

We truly enjoyed our holiday week at the house. The location is great, close to shops and activities. We found a new favorite game from their supplied games. The hosts are very responsive, we had one minor issue with a damaged pot and they had a new full set delivered samw day. We would definitely stay again!

My sister and friend stayed here at the end of June. The house was very clean and organized. We weren't able to grill out, but Glee was notified of the issue with the grill. It's not too far from the beach and located in a nice neighborhood. Overall, very nice place! Thanks, Glee!

College Game Day visit

Great house for my family to visit our Allegheny College student and see her soccer games. Great for access to several schools, amazing neighborhood restaurants and relaxation. Everything you need is there and the owners are easy to reach and deal with all your needs immediately.

Definitely was a little gem!

Just got back from a 2 days stay with a small group of girls. The house was great for a little shopping…close to peach street shopping..and some relaxing with good friends. The house was clean, so many extra blankets and pillows. There was also everything that you needed like spices, TP, garbage bags, kleenex…a lot of little things ..and a lovely bowl of snacks waiting for us upon arrival…nice touch!. Thank you for hosting us and we will def book again.

Trip Home

Quick trip to Erie to see family. This property is well located to all local attractions- 10-15 minutes to Presque Isle and Waldameer. House has everything you need- kitchen is well stocked. Very clean. Owners very responsive to question about entering property. Lovely back deck and yard (weather didn't cooperate with us). I would stay here again.
