"This was a wonderful property and would be very romantic for a couple however not really 2 couple suitable . The second bed was a sofa bed and not overly comfy. But otherwise the house was great. Very clean and beautiful view from the top deck. The tree near the bottom deck could use a trim. Watching the wildlife come up close to the house was also good. The fireplace makes the house beautiful and warm very quickly."

"Property was well equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, spacious living room, good lighting, washing. drying, BBQ etc.,etc., 5 minute drive to the supermarket & town centre. Owner lived at the front of the property in the same block."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The house was well laid out, and had plenty of essential items stocked. The covered outdoor area was great with plenty of things to keep children, and adults amused in downtime between trips on the island. The owners were really nice and very quick to respond to any questions. They even came over one day and took us to see a family of koalas on their property."

"We stayed at the property for 3 nights with kids and it was great. Step out of the property and there’s the Esplanade. The owner had thankfully stocked jam, milk, vegemite, cereals etc as well which was very handy - there was always food when the kids got hungry at odd hours and most places were closed due to Easter long weekend. View a bit cut off. And a bit of TLC with the internal doors. But all needs provided for and in good proximity to Kingscote for supplies. Emu Bay is a beautiful spot. Will be back one day."

"For the most part we loved our stay. The view is incredible with the sound of seabirds and waves in the background a great way to wake up. We didn't see any penguins but plenty of willy wagtails and shorebirds. I think the addition of Wi-Fi (if available in Emu Bay) would have been great only due to the unavailability of a connection anywhere on the island for anyone other than Telstra customers. Whilst charming and clean, I found the house a little shabby for the price and a little updating...

"2 couples for 4 nights- we Loved the spaciousness & location of this home. Linen & beds could be updated. We were shocked to discover we had accidentally almost caused a fire in the appliance cupboard (damage) and Dwayne was wonderful & understanding about the whole matter."
