"If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me."

"I stayed one night with my wife who is using a wheelchair. This hotel was recommended by our son and was in all aspects perfect. We had a huge room with a balcony overlooking the river, absolutely no problem with the wheelchair, and an excellent breakfast. We could park just a few steps from the building. In summary : excellent value for the money."

"Very close to St Pölten, very friendly staff, clean, stayed here while exploring the Wachau Valley area. Krems to Melk. The location of this hotel was fantastic, Short drive to places to eat, the staff was even willing to cook for us. Breakfast was great and included. "

"My family and I (wife and two kids, ages 11 and 13) had a one night overnight in Melk during a road trip through Austria. We wish we would have stayed two nights, it was such a charming town. As we had four people, we booked the suite and were pleasantly surprised to see there was a sauna in the bathroom and a huge shower. This was a highlight, we enjoyed the sauna morning and night. There is a shared balcony at the hotel overlooking the town square which is really charming and fun for people...
