"First Class accommodation and service, this place will always be my first choice in Johannesburg."

"This is a unique property built on natural rock surrounded by trees and birdlife in midst of suburb in Johannesburg.Artistic and comfortable and full of detail. The staff are amazing especially Radsen who cooks a delightful breakfast .Truly delightful stay."

"Best points: location, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, plenty of hot water, charming ambience. Not so good: rickety shower frame (kept coming out of its grooves), mini split heater out of order so a space heater had to be brought in, room was rather cramped for two people"

"Great location and the staff was friendly. Minimally decorated but clean."

"No toiletries Huge noise from the club/lounge below Stepping out of the shower is dangerous, slippery ... The room is nice Location is TOP"

"Big and clean room"

"I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the place was for such a great price point! The apartment and the building were clean and very well maintained. Security is onsite and were very friendly and helpful, as were the desk staff. The washing machine in-house was very handy. Well equipped, modern and clean. The hosts were great and answered all my messages very quickly. Would not hesitate to stay there again!"

"This portion of stay was booked because I needed a 3pm checkout. The host informed me that I needed to reserve another night. I did so however, upon waking to prepare for my trip home we discovered there was no water in the apartment. The host never responded or provided an explanation. I paid for a late check out and could not use the facilities. "

"It’s oversold - misleading marketing / the place is horrible "

"A Hideaway in Joburg.

"Marelyn and Ron were wonderful hosts. The reason for my visit was to attend a friend's funeral and they were so kind and thoughtful, that it made a difficult time just a little easier. My room was spacious, comfortable and the garden courtyard was the perfect spot to relax and listen to the birds! The location is also very central and for someone not familiar with the area, was easy to reach and close to shopping and restaurants. Marilyn was wonderful in allowing me to check in early and check...
