Holiday Homes in Eminence

"Exactly as described. Enjoyed walks with our dog down the quiet country road to the pretty creek. Very safe being off leash. Enjoyed kayaking with Windy outfitters just a few miles away. The town is also a few miles away with gas, groceries, eating places. Everyone is so friendly in Missouri! (We are from Illinois). Recommend the Pie Barn in town too. If you enjoy cooking you might bring some sharp knives, maybe a big pot and some dish towels. The hosts provide only one dish cloth and one dish towel but were accommodating and sent extra towels the next day. Our dog enjoyed himself playing with the hosts’ dogs and meeting horses for the first time. If interested guided trail rides can be booked separately. Would enjoy coming again."

"The cabin had everything we needed. It was perfect for our dogs ! And so close to the cute town of Eminence. The lil shops are nice and the Dairy shack was delicious also another restaurant we went to for breakfast was good ."

"I love staying here. It is so clean and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and having my coffee on the front porch soaking in the beautiful natural world. It far enough away from town to enjoy the quiet but close enough to grab delicious food for meals. I’ll always stay here when visiting Eminence."

"Perfect river weekend getaway house for friends to get together. I wish we would have stayed at least one more night. This house is a lot bigger than it appears. Plenty of quiet and comfort. Kids loved the mini-ping pong table. Getting to see the northern lights one of the nights was definitely a plus and memorable experience."

"Beautiful piece of property to get away from everything! The bunkhouse was nice and cozy. Lisa was amazing. Showed great hospitality and put us right on a herd of wild horses. Also made some great suggestions for things to see. We had a great 2 night stay"

"Relaxing"

"The host could not BE any nicer or easy to work with. He let us stay late for the eclipse with no fuss. And mailed back a CPAP machine I accidentally left there. The cabin was exactly the right size for a getaway weekend to view the eclipse. Everything was clean, it is easy to find, bit feels remote. We want to explore the property next time we stay - cannot wait to find the creek! We think this could be our base when we float the Jack’s Fork. Excellent all around!"
