After a blissful stay in May, we knew we had discovered something extraordinary. So, we returned for another 10 nights, and once again, it was pure magic. Nestled in a breathtaking corner of the world, D Maris Bay is more than just a luxury resort. It’s a sanctuary where nature’s beauty meets impeccable hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in serenity—crystal-clear waters, lush landscapes, and sunsets that seem to pause time. But what truly sets this place apart is its people. Every meal, every moment on the beach, every interaction with the staff felt personal and heartfelt. "Family room turned out to be worn out and small. The view from the balcony is also so-so (to the bungalows back and roofs). The staff at the counter was kind enough to agree to give us another acommodation (which was available at the same price at the moment). The breakfasts are rather modest, also the staff almost speaks no English so ordering eggs and other hot breakfast options is a challenge. The selection of fruits is rather limited. The dinner is also rather modest. There is only one option of main dish, with no fish options throughout all three days we stayed at the hotel. The selection of fruits us also rather limited. During checkout we were asked to pay additional €37 – I paid in cash on check-in and the staff at the counter could not remember if I paid in full or not (I owed only 27 TL after checkin, not €37) and they do not give any receipts and had no records of amount I paid. I had to insist that I paid in full (owing only 27 TL) and the staff had to check the camera recordings to confirm that. Rather disappointing experience. I am not a scam or thief to be checked by camera. Datça itself is nice and the nature and the sea is awesome."

"We stayed at Deniz Hotel at the height of tourist season for a few days in late July/early August. I would highly recommend it for anyone travelling to Datca. It has an excellent location next to Kumluk Plaji and it is also within walking distance of Taslik Plaji (which is better in my opinion). The service at the hotel was really exceptional, particularly providing assistance with parking behind the hotel, which was crowded as it was high season and in general with small requests and questions about the area. The breakfast was also very good. They rooms were also very tidy, comfortable, and cool. In short, highly recommended as a base to explore the peninsula. "
