What a great stay in Downeast Maine. It was close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The farm house had everything that you needed. The horses were great. Plan on staying again.

Maine farm house

The house was nice and the owner was great to deal with, she provided a lot of local knowledge on things to do. I will say that it is on a surprisingly busy road. But the horses were great and the family loved to give them apple slices and carrots. Overall I would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. Also it’s not too far from Bar Harbor and Arcadia.
