"The Knotty Pine" - Your perfect cabin getaway!

Welcome to the beautiful Knotty Pine in Ellijay, Georgia! When we walked into this cabin for the first time, we knew it had to be ours. Now it can be yours, and you can fall in love with the cabin just like we did! The Knotty Pine offers everything you could want for your north Georgia getaway. First and foremost, it's a true cabin, inside and out. Sometimes you see homes listed as "cabins" or "cottages," but they're really just homes in the woods. When we say cabin, we mean cabin! Don't believe us, just look at the pictures!

As soon as you step in the front door, your stress will melt away. A large living space with vaulted ceilings is just the beginning. Add in a beautiful gas fireplace and you've already got your perfect weekend retreat. A nice size kitchen with all the amenities, plus a nice family eating area (also perfect for puzzles and games!).

There is a large bedroom with a king size bed on the main floor. It includes a big walk-in closet as well as a full bath just across the hallway. The second bedroom is upstairs, with a queen size bed and an en suite bathroom.

Did we mention the beautiful loft space? No? OK, we have a BEAUTIFUL loft space that is great spot for reading or even getting a little work done at the desk. You could even bring an air mattress and sleep a couple more in that space. We have a futon up there to get you started!

Let's head outside. The Knotty Pine has a massive porch that wraps 3/4 of the way around the house. Our property is nestled in a deer sanctuary, so you will likely see plenty of bucks, does and little fawns during your stay.

Bottom line, if you're looking for a getaway, short or long, The Knotty Pine is the perfect place for you. We absolutely cannot wait for you to enjoy this property. And if you come once, we're almost positive you'll come back! See you soon!

We really enjoyed our recent visit to Elijay and our stay at your knotty pine cabin. It was nice an clean and equipped with all we needed. The deer roaming around was a special treat. Love The Knotty Pine Cabin

The Knotty Pine Cabin was the perfect place for our girl's weekend. Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed to make our meals. We loved the deer and their fawns who came daily. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Peaceful Getaway!

Our family enjoyed exploring northern Georgia and staying as this sweet little cabin. The deer visited us throughout our stay, despite the "neighborhood" like population of humans. We enjoyed the pool areas within the community and all the orchards and wineries nearby as well.

Our second stay here!

This was our 2nd stay at The Knotty Pine and we were just as happy with it as the first time we stayed last year! The area is a great "hub" location to visit other areas, like Newfound Gap, Blue Ridge, wineries, etc. We plan to make this a yearly tradition here. The cabin is always very clean and has everything needed, just bring clothes and food!

Cute Cabin

The Knotty Pine is an adorable cabin. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. We loved watching the deer in morning and evening from the wonderful front porch.

Home away from home

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Its very quiet and peaceful. The cabin is always very clean and the kitchen has everything we needed to cook with. We always enjoy all the deer.

Deer Heaven

We enjoyed our trip to Knotty Pine so much. This was our second trip there, we brought family with us this time. The cabin is so clean, and the kitchen is stocked so well, it is the perfect cabin, and the location is great. And the deers was an added bonus. Highly recommend this cabin for a peaceful trip.

Lovely cabin

Cabin is very cozy, the Christmas tree was very welcoming. Cabin was clean. The beat board was the daily visits from the deer, fed them fruits since we didn’t have anything else to feed them. They loved it! I I reached out to the owner with a couple of questions and he answered promptly and was pleasant about it! It was a very nice stay. Highly recommend it!

Knotty pine cabin

We booked this as a place to stay for a family wedding in the area and fell in love! So much to do downtown (mix of history, shopping and food), local area (Amicalola falls, numerous orchards, rafting and zipelines), and even just the resort we were in (hikes in and along mountain steams, parks, and pools). The deer are a constant presence and source of fantasy/wonder for the kids. The cabin itself is comfortable and well stocked for our stay. Definitely worth a visit!

Perfect getaway

Cabin was exactly as pictured & described. Location was perfect for trips to Merciers in Blue Ridge & visiting the shops on the square in Ellijay. We bought carrots to feed the deer & they came early am & dinner time. We had 10 to feed one day. Josh was prompt in texting about lighting the pilot on the fireplace. One of my favorite places that I have stayed. Will definitely return.

Amazing

We loved this cabin we were greeted by deers . The cabin was so clean and had anything you would need in the kitchen . The decor was very nice. We enjoyed just sitting and watching the deer . The best peaceful vacation we have ever had. So much so we are going back in Oct . We didn’t get to drive around and see all the amenities. Fairly close to restaurants and shopping and orchards. Can’t say enough about this cabin wonderful cabin

Love Everything About Knotty Pine…

This was our second stay at Knotty Pine and it is the perfect home away from home. We feel right at home immediately upon walking through the door. The location is perfect for numerous day trips and is convenient for local shopping. Josh and Kristy have thought of everything. Knotty Pine is equipped with just about anything you might require during your stay. We love feeding the deer and were able to hand feed an 8 point buck this time :-) They love carrots! We can’t say enough good things about Knotty Pine and definitely plan to visit again. Thank you for making it available :-)

(Hurricane) Mountain Weekend

My husband and our friends thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Knotty Pine! We were in Ellijay for my brother's wedding. It was exactly as shown on the listing, and we had thorough instructions during our stay. The cabin was beautiful and had plenty of space for us. Seeing the deer throughout the neighborhood and in the yard was incredibly cool! I especially appreciated Joshua's communication with us since Hurricane Helene was coming through the few days we were there. We were able to come in Thursday night instead of Friday, and he made sure we had an early check-in time so we could get settled before the weather worsened. We will definitely stay here again for our next trip to north Georgia. :)

Magical mountain side cabin

We arrived late at night during a light snow-fall. When we opened the door to the cabin it was everything you imagined after looking at the pictures. Decorated with lit Christmas tree and garland upon the stone fireplace. Primary bedroom was perfect as well as second bedroom off the loft. Kitchen has everything you need and I looks over the backyard. Wrap-around porch from front to back. After a great night’s sleep we woke up to deer roaming freely in the back and front yard. Such a wonderful time was had by all. We can’t wait to back again. The Price Family

The porch was very dirty. The couches had a smell, along with one of them having a long tear at the back. It’s time for replacements. The grill was not clean, therefore unable for use. We left one day early. Not happy with the conditions

Cabin was super cute, well stocked with essentials. The deer in the yard every day was awesome, went and bought them apples. Close to fun places to visit including the Apple barns, Ellijay downtown shops and Blue Ridge shops. Guys enjoyed golfing at three courses within short drives. Would definitely recommend this cabin and stay again if we are in the area in the area in the future.
