Discover Romantic, Private, Peaceful Log Cabin on Rushing Stream with hot tub

This 3 bedroom, 3 bath cabin has it all. The cabin now has 2 king size beds and 1 queen. It is located on a secluded wooded lot with excellent views and sounds of a fast moving stream just out your back door. Inside it is beautifully appointed with all the modern amenities of home. Whether in the loft, out on the large screened in porch or down at the fire pit by the stream, you will find great locations to curl up with your favorite book or just hang out with family and friends. In the lower level there is chess, checkers, fooze ball and many board games available. Always enjoyable to all is the 6 person Jacuzzi hot tub that overlooks the stream. The cabin is decorated with a very cozy, yet rustic decor. There are quilts, furry blankets a lot of black bear paraphernalia. Really cute and fun! Firewood provided seasonally for fire pit, and fireplace. The playground is private and incredible: swings, slide, playhouse, etc. Still tucked away in a wooded environment. No pets allowed. Kids under 12 are free.

This cabin is right next door to our other two cabins (VRBO#1205551 and #3264751). This is a great way to get together for a family reunion or gathering of friends by renting both or all 3 cabins. Our 4th cabin is about 10 mins away. It’s VRBO #956322. Check it out too.

Relaxing getaway!

Such a beautiful area. Secluded but convenient to shops and restaurants. Pleasantly surprised to find two great vineyards less than a mile away. We had such a good time here and will definitely be back!

Family Christmas Vacation

We had an amazing time at the cabin! It was the perfect size for our family. Loved the outdoors; right on the water, playground area and s’mores at the fire pit. Close enough to town for the necessities but far enough away for seclusion.

Great Family Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family. Beautifully decorated, perfect layout for families, lots of fun at playground and great times playing in the creek. Everything we needed was there! Highly recommend the cabin!

Family and friends get away.

Great cabin! Setting on the back deck was so tranquil, watching nature and hearing the stream flow by. It has all the amenities that you want in a rental cabin.

Get away trip

Was a great trip. The kids stayed busy, and the parents were able to relax. The cabin was perfect for all of us. The creek was very enjoyable, as well as the hot tub and the fire pit. Saw lots of deer around the cabin and we loved to just watch them.

Second time visit

This cabin is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked and comfortable to cook in. We used the grill on the front porch every night, and it was also easy to use. The cabin is spotless and so peaceful.We spent most of the time on the screened-in porch. The porch overlooks a stream filled with trout. You can hear the water falling over the small rapids from the porch and the bedrooms. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. It was very clean and hot.We can’t wait for a third trip.

Perfect getaway

We had a great time, again, at our favorite cabin! 3rd time here and we’re already planning our next visit;) Amicalola state park waterfall was absolutely beautiful, we did some downtown exploring and spent most of the time at the cabin. Creek, monopoly, movie night.. just enjoying the mountains air and spending time together.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved this cabin! It was exactly as it looks in the pictures. Super clean and all of the things you need for a perfect stay. Upgraded kitchen appliances and everything you need in the kitchen. So many blankets for being cozy and the basement is awesome for watching movies or hanging out. Screened porches were perfect for reading and listening to the river. What a wonderful location and so much care to make this place welcoming and comfortable. Easy to get to and close to stores and restaurants but tucked away so you feel like you’re a world away. We will definitely come back!

Wedding in Ellijay

Great location - 6 miles from wedding venue and 4 miles rehearsal dinner. With 2 babies the downstairs worked great. Stream out back beautiful - I saw river otter early Saturday morning - would rent this cabin again.

Still the best

We’ve rented this cabin several times in the past and always enjoy the stay. We skipped a year this time and really liked the upgrades the owners applied…means they care about their rental and aren’t letting it fall into disrepair. Our grandkids were finally of an age to enjoy playing in the creek while the younger grandkids enjoyed the playground. The adults enjoyed being able to supervise both locations while still enjoying the comforts of the cabin.

New Years vacation

We had the best time spending New Year's in the cabin. We were able to see fireworks from the cabin It was very nice to have smores by the creek and enjoy hot chocolate. There was a lot of room for everyone in the family and nice for the children to be able to go outside and run. The cabin is also very close to being able to visit multiple places in different cities and see the GA mountains.

Excellent stay and very peaceful

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this beautiful cabin and area in Elijay. This is my second stay with this owner and it is always a very pleasant experience. Cabin was just as described and the creek in the back is very relaxing. Lots of room and i really love the loft. Beds were very comfortable and I really liked how there was plenty of extra sheets and towels in case I needed them. Love the hot tub out back and just the overall experience is A+. Summers In Ellijay

We book this cabin every year for the Summer for the past 7 years. Although we feel it is time for a few upgrades at the cabin and it isn’t as peaceful as it use to be with all the new builds surrounding it, we’ve built so many memories here that it’s hard to stay anywhere else. The location on the creek can’t be beat and we just know our way around now that it feels like our second home.

Birthday Getaway

We came to Peaceful Waters to celebrate my husband’s 45th birthday. It was a very beautiful well laid-out cabin and the surrounding area was gorgeous. It was very cold while we were there but we still managed to enjoy the outdoor fire pit, walking along the stream, and relaxing in the hot tub. The cabin had all we needed to cook some yummy meals. We drove into Blue Ridge one day for dinner at Southern Charm and it was lovely. We also took a beautiful short hike off of Blackberry Hill Road to Clear Creek. We loved hanging out in the cabin playing board games, watching movies, and watching football!

Awesome Family Trip

We had a great time and the property was perfect for us. We had 4 generations and there was something for everyone to enjoy. I’d have to say having the creek was everyone’s favorite. The great grandparents loved sitting on the porch listening to the rushing creek and the grandkids loved playing in the creek. The property itself is beautiful, and nicely wooded. We loved the trees providing shade on hot summer days. We all enjoyed family dinners together, the grill was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed. Every day we saw deer a few houses down the road. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Weekend!

If there is a cabin and location that is perfection, this is it. It is beautiful!!! The cabin and outside area are very well maintained. There is enough space for individual privacy and family time. The owners have done a remarkable job furnishing the cabin with everything necessary to make your stay enjoyable. All you need to bring is food. The creek access was safe for the younger kids and they all had a wonderful time playing in it. I can't thank the owners enough for the effort and detail they have put into making their cabins and furnishings so beautiful. So many memories made. So much love shared. So blessed to have found it. Thank you again!!!

Peaceful Easy Feeling

That song from the Eagles popped into my head as soon as we arrived onsite. The house is as advertised, it is an awesome log cabin alongside a creek that my kids absolutely loved playing in! It is in a location where you feel away from any hustle and bustle, but only a short 15 minute ride into Ellijay, where we spent an afternoon shopping and eating lunch at the Roof (which was fantastic). We spent an afternoon at Amicolola State Park where we hiked up to the falls (beautiful), had lunch in the lodge at the top of the mountain which has spectacular views and did some ziplining. Spent an afternoon tubing down the Cartecay river as well. We picked the adventurous route, which had some rapids that were a lot of fun and not too scary for the kids. If you like wine, there are a couple of vineyards very close to the house, Buckley's and Ott's. Both were very nice with great wine. The view at Ott's is awesome. Overall, exactly the long weekend the family needed before starting back to school. Loved the house, creek, making smores, sitting on the porch drinking coffee and enjoying mother nature!
