Our Cozy Craftsman in Coosawattee provides the perfect escape. Can’t you see yourself relaxing in this nature preserve located in the beautiful North Georgia mountains? The three levels of living space will allow you to spread out while still being together. The two king beds are perfect when traveling with another couple or your adult children. Two additional twin beds downstairs in the fun part of the home. Spend your evenings soaking in the hot tub. The game room has a pool table and a 60 game arcade console so you can brush up on your Galaga & Ms Pac Man skills. Enjoy nights out by the fire and take time to feed the many deer at dusk and dawn.
The kitchen is well stocked and you will find both a regular and keurig coffee maker, air fryer, crockpot, and blender.
The internet is reliable at this house and we often have 2 tvs streaming at the same time. Hulu Live is provided so you can watch sports, news and weather. There is a desk downstairs with direct ethernet connection so you can work if needed.
Our home can be accessed on two lane paved roads which is definitely an advantage in the mountains. This is a NON Smoking and non pet home. Ring doorbell at front entrance that records when motion is detected.
The included resort fee allows your entire party to access the gated community which includes all 5 parks, access to the River, Picnic Area with Charcoal BBQ Grills and fishing pond. The Rec Center has an indoor heated pool, workout area, game room, tennis, Pickleball and mini golf. Outdoor pools open between Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Family Trip

We had a great time at the Coosawattee River Resort!! This is one of our favorite places to spend a long weekend. The house was wonderful and Norah was great to work with!!

Fun getaway to Georgia

Different from our typical summer beach vacation, this house and this location was just what we needed. We had a wonderful time with lots to do in the nearby area and in the home. If we weren’t hanging out feeding deer, playing pool, cards or video games, we were whit water rafting, zip lining, hiking or visiting restaurants. We will definitely look to go back!!

Beautiful cabin

Very nice cabin, would love to come back! The cabin offers plenty of room for families with great amenities. Very well stocked and super clean! We enjoyed seeing the deer everyday. Norah was very quick to answer any questions that we may have had. Definitely a five star place

Perfect Romantic Getaway

Absolutely perfection!

Beautiful house and location. Norah was absolutely wonderful and sweet with our correspondence. I would definitely recommend you book your stay here if you are looking for something in this area. It was also amazing to see and visit with the deer that would come over each day on her property.

4th of July get together

We went to visit our daughter who was interning close by this summer. The house was perfect for 5 adults. We had ample space to spread out, play games, eat meals and enjoy a few days of downtime together. We floated the river and did some hiking too. The downtown area had cute little shops and a great selection of restaurants.

Treasure on the Mountain

Norah & Paul's home was just as pictured and had so many little touches that made you feel at home. We enjoyed the fireplaces on the cold rainy days we were there. The roads to the house are all paved which is a rare find in the mountains. We are already planning our next visit!

Apple Fest Getaway

Perfect location for apple fest and other outings. House was extremely clean and well stocked. The kitchen was like stepping into my own with crockpot/ air fryer/keurig and more! Comfortable beds and furniture. Owner was phenomenal with communicating and being available.

Very nice!

The neighborhood was amazing and beautiful. The cabin was beautiful inside, and the sitting area outside was excellent. We always saw numerous deer every time we entered or left the neighborhood. That never got old. It's peaceful and beautiful all throughout the area. Very relaxing and comfortable stay!

Fantastic Getaway

Our family stayed here for a few days over spring break. Excellent communication from the property owner from the date of booking and throughout our stay. The property is about 10mins from the grocery store and 15mins to downtown. We got in around dusk the first night and counted about 30 deer from the front gate to the house. The house has everything you need during your stay from pots and pans, dishes and even deer corn to feed the deer. My kids had a blast and we will be back!

Wonderful stay! Will be back!

Can't put into words how great of a week we spent in this beautiful place. Would recommend to anyone looking to get away and relax. The grandchildren loved the arcade, pool table and the many visits to the pools. As soon as we arrived, the deer approached us and were constant visitors throughout the stay. Norah was so friendly and helpful with my many questions, prior to our arrival. Would give more stars if that were an option. We will definitely be back!

Apple Fest 2023

The cabin was perfect for our party of five. Actually we only had to drive down the mountain & were at the Apple festival. A few miles away & we were at the Blue Ridge festival. We enjoyed the game room for lounging around, playing pool, cards, watching tv & even put a puzzle together. Our host checked on us several times to be sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely stay there again!

Beautiful, Family-Friendly Cabin

This lovely, spacious cabin has everything for a family getaway: pool table and large family TV and gaming room, lots of games, an exercise bike(!), and tons of space to hang out. The paved roads made it easy to get to, it’s close to Ellijay for dining and shopping, and the communication with the owner was excellent, including a text to let us know we could check in early. Everything in the cabin is labeled, which I loved, and when I left my slippers behind, Norah contacted me before I even made it back home to let me know and arrange to mail them to me. My teenage son and I were able to decompress and relax at the end of the school year and we especially enjoyed the many deer visitors we had every day. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect House for Families

This is a great house for families traveling with couples or older children. There are 3 floors, but the top floor is a 2nd Master Suite with King bed and the bottom floor has twin beds, pool table, great den with large sofa and tv + another bathroom with shower! (The walk in floor has the main Master Suite). So, everyone has a 'floor' with facilities! The owners were great in corresponding. We cooked suppers for 2 nights and found everything we needed as far as pots/pans, etc. Would definitely recommend this house!

Cozy Cabin

We had a fantastic stay at the Cabin in Ellijay, GA. We traveled with our family and everyone enjoyed their stay, we had plenty of room to spread out and at the same time be able to eat dinner together at the dining room table. We appreciated the game room and additional big screen TV for watching movies. The owners were great with communications and offered to block out a few extra days just in case we needed them. The highlight of our stay was feeding the deer out of the palms of our hands. We fed them morning, noon and night as they were always around. Do yourselves a favor, book the condo and grab a bag of deer corn food at one of the local stores, you will be sure to have a great time. We will definitely book here again, can't wait to visit again.

I'll BE BACK

Let me start off by saying this was one of my favorite rentals. Place was comfortable, very spacious and very clean. The owners look like they went out of their way to make sure their guest enjoyed the accommodations. Everything was labeled which made it very easy to know where things were at. There was enough things to keep you entertained in the house in case you got stuck in the house with bad weather. Then there was the treat of feeding the deer's, at one time there had to be about 18 of them around us. I will definitely be renting again.

Amazing

Me and my kids had a blast, there was a few supplies in the house so we do have to go too much grocery shopping, but we did replace some of the firewood that was left, as well as left some condiments. Enjoy the fire pit, enjoyed the arcade, and my kids loved to try to play pool. It was fun to see how bad we were at pool. They had their own room because there was just me and my two kids, they loved that part my son loved the basement. It was like his own apartment., I would definitely stay. Everything was extremely organized in the well laid out. The owner was extremely, easy to get along with and was happy to help in anyway they can. Plan on coming again.

Great Business Getaway

The property was really nice, and in great location. It was very peaceful and secluded. There was never a dull moment with so much in the area to do. Deer are all over the place and very domesticated. The roads leading to property are very narrow and curvy, which was scary to us at first because we had never visited the mountains before. We got used to it after the first day. The only issue we had was that bedrooms and top linen had a stale smell, but we bought some Febreeze and Lysol, and resolved the problem. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had about the property during our stay. We had a very adventurous and peacesful business trip, and would rent this property again in a heartbeat! Cheers!

So private and quiet…much attention to detail obvious with cabinets marked for ease in the kitchen as well as lights/fans, etc…so much to keep all ages entertained or to retreat to privacy, everything necessary for anyone with mobility issues on main floor with no steps…perfect for all ages!
