"Amazing! The cabin and the location were exactly what we were looking for. The cabin was cozy, clean and quiet. The location is completely private, we hiked, and sat outside the whole time and did not see a single person! We had a rainy day and were able to use the outdoor fireplace, there is nothing quite like sitting on a porch listening to rain while sitting in front of a fire. We hope to be back next Spring! "

"Good hotel, have stayed before and will again. Rooms clean, good bed, good breakfast. Pool was clean and nice temp. Plenty of good restaurants in the same shopping center as hotel. "

"The cabin was really amazing... More than we expected and the location was PERFECT!! If you really want to get away for the all noise of the world, then this is place to do it. Molly was very helpful with info and communications. We are booking another week soon at the same place but working on our dates here first.Nicest place we've stayed in and was worth every penny. Don't let the gravel access road scare you.. it's worth the drive, just take it slow and easy. Thank you for giving us an amazing week... just what we needed! "

"You know you had a good time when you are already looking forward to a return visit. There was so much to love about our visit to Sunset Peak. For starters, when my wife and I first walked through the door, the smell of fresh pine captivated our senses. We literally stood in the hallway and closed our eyes for a few minutes to take it all in. After our brief moment of serenity, we slowly walked towards the living room / kitchen area of the cabin and was blown away by the majestic beauty of the mountain ridge that was right before our eyes. I know the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words" but in this cause, the pictures on the website don't give Sunset Peak justice. The views from the back porch and from the hot tub is spectacular. Chip and Carmie, you guys need to do a master class on how to host. Your attention to detail and southern hospitality really made our 20th anniversary trip memorable. Thank You for being so personable. Your calls, text and Ellijay area recommendations were welcoming.
