"This might be the only option in town, and for that reason, this is a useful and decent sleeping place. There's no TV in the cramped room, but this wasn't an issue. My only complaint was that I could not control the air conditioning and it was hot in the room all night. The hallway was cool so I tried to sleep with the door open but this was not ideal. The "down the hall" bathrooms are well maintained and clean with plenty of private showers and toilets. It's like staying in a turn-of-the-century hotel, because it is! The owner is very friendly and provided a thorough explanation of things. The town is fun to explore, and I saw a small bear dart across the road and some nice trains ran through town."

"The room was super clean and comfortable. The staff were so helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The location was within walking distance of the restaurants and grocery store, like two minutes tops. Lastly, the view of the mountains was gorgeous from every angle. I will stay here again and will recommend to everybody."

"The place was a nice little getaway! The river access was unfortunately blocked by a big puddle/stream so we couldn’t make it there, but the hot tub was awesome and the kitchen was well stocked."

"The most beautiful property we have stayed with beautiful landscaping. Lots of places to sit outside even by the gorgeous creek nearby. We felt truly pampered with gifts of snacks and drinks. The cabin is so nice with a comfortable bed! The property is very tranquil and quiet. The location is perfect not far from Packwood restaurants. The hosts are easy to communicate with and very kind. We will choose this cabin again."
