This place was very clean and exactly as described. It was in a great location — just a short walk to Slim Chickens, and very close to the baseball fields where our son’s tournament was held. It made the whole trip super convenient and stress-free. The neighborhood felt safe and quiet, and check-in was smooth. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re back in the area!
Kelly is the perfect host! The family and I were impressed with the beautiful home remodel, decorating, all the little touches and extras. Plenty of towels, bedding, dishes, cookware, etc. We enjoyed our stay! Would stay again. Top notch!
This bookings is amazing for groups and everything we needed! Our group booked this property to stay for a bonding retreat, and the living rooms and giant kitchen made it so worth the stay. It made it intimate, yet roomy. We all loved this home and the hosts made us feel like family. Thank you so much!
We had a great stay for our spring break trip. The house is in a great spot and convenient to restaurants, stores, and in the middle of all the places we visited. We went to Louisville, Mammoth Cave area, Fort Knox, and they were all 45 min from the house. The house was very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and Kelly was a great host!
This property was perfect for our soccer tournament weekend. We have a large family and being in a hotel room is a bit cramped! We were only 7 mins from the fields and had tons of room. The kitchen was great to have healthy meals throughout our stay. Kelly was a great host!
We had a great stay at the Old Maple House in Elizabethtown. The house was brand new and perfectly appointed for a very comfortable stay. The Kitchen had everything you could ask for and and the bathrooms were beautiful. Property was conveniently located 8 minutes from Elizabethtown Sports Park. Our family was in town for a big softball tournament. Kelly could not have been more responsive and was incredibly attentive to making our stay comfortable and easy to manage. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.
This is one of the most charming homes we’ve had the pleasure to stay in! High ceilings, beautiful modern decor, and spotlessly clean make for a home that is easy to feel peaceful in. The hosts generously provide ample coffee, an automated bar tender system, toiletries and laundry supplies - very unique and welcomed! Our host communicated with us in a timely manner on all topics and check out was a total breeze. Can’t wait to stay again when our children can enjoy running around outside!
VERY nice old modernized old home! Home was perfect for our groups 1 night stay (wish we could have stayed an extra night). Host was quick to respond to questions prior to booking, after booking and during our stay. Kelly is an awesome Host, she provides her guests with lots of extras--laundry soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, coffee bar, mixed drink barista machine, etc. Being a small 100 year old home, we found it to be very spacious for our group of seven. We hope to visit again.
This is a beautiful home with a lot of amenities. I don’t think the pictures do it justice as it is a lot more home than it looks with three large bedrooms, large closet, space and large bathroom bathrooms. Everything is modern and up-to-date, including a beautiful kitchen and a pretty awesome coffee and drink bar.
The house was described perfectly. It may had left out that it had to sitting rooms. The fully updated property was top notch. I cant complain about the home at all. I will be sure to book again when in visiting Kentucky. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathrooms were well stocked. Plenty of towels and linens. The coffee area was remarkable as well as the modern kitchen. The size of the home was more than we could have thought of. High cellings, fire places, tvs, games and much more. Also the beds where very very comfortable. We give this home a 10!
I cannot rave enough about Old Maple House. The house is gorgeous, cozy, and welcoming. Kelly our hostess is AMAZING! The house was close enough to enjoy Christmas with my family that lives in KY and big enough to bring part of the family from NC. While we were there we had a winter storm so all the kids big and small guy to play in the snow. We got to make snow cream. Love love love this place and definitely will be back.
The house was beautiful, clean, and very cozy. Only problem we had was on our first night, the batteries in the smoke detector in the hallway were going dead, beeping very loudly at 11pm. We made one phone call and a gentleman was here in 15 minutes and took care of it. Very appreciated. Will stay here again.
The place was wonderful. It was clean and the location was good for us. Easy access to many things like restaurants, grocery stores and such.We had our dog along, and the house was perfect for him, he could spend time outside (on the deck) as well as plenty of safe walking.Kelly and Reggie (owners) where super easy to contact and had plenty of suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed. Example, we ran low on dishwasher pods and Kelly had an Amazon delivery arrive before we ran out. They did an amazing job remodeling this over 100-year-old home.Next time we in E-town, we will check with Kelly is its available. Thanks for opening your place to us - Mike
We stayed here for a quick work retreat and it was fabulous! Very spacious and incredible amenities. Kelly was a fantastic host, very communicative and exceeded our expectations! A beautiful spot and I highly recommend!
The house was perfect for our family while we supported our daughter graduating from Fort Knox cadet college! The house was big and clean and close to everything in Elizabethtown! We will definitely be back!
Such a lovely home. Very cozy, with lots of room to spread out. We only got to spend one night, but would have loved to stay longer. The neighborhood is nice, and it is close to lots of food and shopping options.
Kelly, our host, was an excellent communicator and assisted us in every way we asked. It’s a lovely property! The beds were super comfortable! Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to prepare meals. TVs in every room for everyone’s enjoyment! Property was very accurately described and if we return we will definitely check on its availability! Thank you for a great stay.
