A PERFECT place for a weekend getaway!

My husband and I plus our dog, spent 2 nights over Easter weekend. It was awesome. Comfy, nicely appointed. But the best thing of all is the quiet and solitude. And at night, the stars are amazing. We will be back!

Cute little Cottage tucked away in the middle of a vineyard. Rustic but not primitive. I think it would be great fun to stay during ' Grape picking time'. Very quiet and star gazing is a must.

I could live here! Such an amazing hideaway of serenity and stunning beauty. Perfect Getaway

Shanna's house was the perfect place for a weekend getaway. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sun set and rise. Our dogs enjoyed being able to run in a fenced yard. Shanna was an excellent hostess.

Vineyard Cottage

Views are spectacular and it’s very secluded. Since it’s a working vineyard and ranch, waking to roosters crowing, cows mooing and donkeys braying is definitely a benefit. Sunrise and sunset are great photo opportunities.

Relaxing Stay

This is a good place for city folks to relax and reset. It is quiet, peaceful, and has good sunrise and sunset views. My husband and I particularly enjoyed drinking our coffees on the patio in the mornings, and drinking wines in the evenings. This place has a more rustic vibe, keep that in mind when you book. If you are looking for a more luxurious stay in terms of amenities, this might not be for you. But my husband and I loved it! Will book again when we visit the area.

Amazing Property with Beautiful Views

This is a beautiful little house on a stunning property. Everything was clean and well cared for, the rooms are setup to be both cozy and functional, and the check in/out process was simple. We really enjoyed waking up to the mountain views and the quiet, low-light area has amazing stargazing at night. It’s also 5 minutes from several good wineries. Highly recommended – would definitely book again.

Quite the gem to stay in Elgin

This was a very cute cottage. The straw/bale living room was very comfy and inviting. We found the bed to be very comfortable which is HUGE! Loved using the gas bbq both nights that we were there. We truly enjoyed the complete silence sitting outside. So very relaxing. We also enjoyed our morning about 30 minute walk. Met some of the neighbors and they were very welcoming. We WILL be back!!!

The perfect getaway!

This cottage is heaven on a hill! Practically speaking, it's stocked with everything anyone would need, is clean, beautifully appointed and decorated, and has warmth and charm that welcomes you. There's laundry, a full-kitchen ready to cook in, internet/TV, and indoor and outdoor tables for dining. The bed and other furniture are comfortable and the wrap around porches let you take full advantage of the breathtaking 360 views no matter what time of day or night. (Speaking of night - the stars!). The location for us was perfect - away from even the small towns in the area so it was quiet and very private - but close enough to a lot of beautiful places in Southern Arizona that one can easily explore. And what a cozy, charming place to come home to! The host was responsive and so welcoming that we felt at home even before we arrived. While we weren't travelling with a dog this time, we could see from the available supplies that dogs are very welcome as well, which is great! This is truly one of the best places we've ever stayed in from all aspects. The serenity, the comfort, and the views just invite you to relax and reconnect with yourself or your travelling companion. The only reason I hesitated to give this enthusiastic 100% positive review is that we are eager to return soon and often and I hope it will be available!

Quaint get-away

We stayed over the 4th of July weekend because our dog doesn't tolerate fireworks and it was perfect. She was super happy and loved being able to be off leash in the fenced in property. The house was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked flawlessly. All in all and great mini-vacation.
