lol. Everything! Great experience My best suggestion is to book it for a minimum of two nights especially if driving from Panama City The restaurant up the hill has the best Brie starter ever
First off you are sleeping in a converted shipping container. We had the family room so we had 2 units otherwise it is a tiny space. Recommend a 4x4 or SUV as part of the road is dirt with big potholes. Amazing location and amazing restaurant up the hill for excellent breakfast and dinner with stunning views.
Stylish container hotel in El Valle de Antón with comfortable, well‑designed but rather compact rooms; excellent views at breakfast, but only one dish per person is included, which may not be enough for many
Breathtaking view!!!! Unlike anything I've experienced. My only concern was the lack of warm/hot water in my room. My cousin’s room seemed to have hot water though. The scenery was well worth it though and the staff were friendly.
We loved this property! The view was amazing. Such a unique stay, we couldn't get over how relaxing and comfortable our stay was there. The front desk was super helpful and friendly! The room was clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy quiet relaxing stay in Valle de Anton. 100 percent recommend.
It was off the beaten path but I’ve never woken up to a more incredible view. The sea can concept is very cool, the rooms are comfortable but the location and view are simply amazing.
Pretty cool place. You are basically in the clouds and the room views are stunning. Very strong winds throughout the night which shake the room, which is a renovated container, I personally found that pretty cool and exciting. The guy at the front desk was great and very helpful.
Great spot. Amazing views! We stayed in the family one. I wasnt aware that the second unit didnt have a bathroom, but you walk out and in the other unit. No problem at all. We really enjoyed our stay
The environment is perfect, a place to listen to nature and the breeze. Excellent climate and the restaurant exquisite. The only thing I can recommend is that the no-noise policy starts at 7 pm. Some neighbors were on their balcony with urban music and laughing loudly, which forced us to go into the room to not hear them.
It was lovely and exactly as advertised. Our host was very accommodating, the views were spectacular and we appreciated the fridge, coffee maker and little kitchenette.
The restaurant was good as well.
We appreciated being so near to town but just remote enough.
However, two nights on that mattress/pillow combo was all we could take at our age.
The literal only problem, if you call it that, is the road up the mountain to Nomada. 4x4 is almost required, but definitely recommended. When you make it up, the views are spectacular and the atmosphere of being on top of El Valle De Anton is unmatched. I love this place.
Side note, the restaurant Los Nubes, nestled up above is the best views I’ve ever had from a restaurant. Drinks were excellent, as was the food. Which is the only place I actually took pictures. I didn’t plan on leaving a review, but Nomada deserved it.

Liked: Staff & service
The view could be good for some, however a lot of clouds prevent this occasion. The "C-Cans" are good idea, but single room is just that .. no closets, small bathroom and bet up against one side. This was ok to experience but damp, cool conditions limited our visit. The Restaurant was great, with an awesome view (weather permitted) and food was good. It was windy up there (to be expected) so bring a light jacket.
great location, it was too bad it was so cloudy and rainy during our stay, we couldn't enjoy the views
the only downfall was the transfer of noise between rooms, and the high humidity, our room and towels were wet!
Unique property, uniquely situated - on the mountain, somewhere in the "hair" of la India Dormida. The views, the quiet, and the isolation would be hard to match. This gets all my 5 stars. Stayed in a mountain-view Queen studio.
The rooms are clean but basic and small - and as advertised (as a container-based hotel). Very little by way of amenities or service. If you arrive with the mindset of a basic camp lodge, with a very comfortable Queen bed. The views and isolation should more than make up for the spartan accommodation. If you arrive with the mindset of a standard hotel room, you will be disappointed. But the views and isolation should more than make up for it. The staff, especially Ariel, are very helpful. And mostly leave you to your devices unless you need them.
Should be noted that the breakfast is in a separate restaurant building, Las Nubes, that is a 2 minute walk away — but it's a very steep walk up the very steep mountain road that also leads to the hotel. Several guests with cars simply drove up. I chose the exercise. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. While there is more dining variety driving down into the valley and El Valle; the drive back up the mountain when dark can be daunting. So having Las Nubes as a late dining option is good.
If you hike up the La India Dormida trail, at its peak you can look across and see Las Nubes in the distance. But with some dodgy descent and climbing between you both.
