"This is a nice smallish hotel at the outskirts of Alcazar. Staff is friendly, rooms are clean, maybe a bit minimal equiped but it has all you need. Attached is a restaurant and cafeteria with pretty good food too. Something to be aware of - it is on the outskirts of Alcazar and takes about 20 minutes to walk into the town centre, over an hour to the windmills/sights (driving or cycling is of course much quicker) - plan accordingly."

"It was a really beautiful old spanish style hotel with the most incredibly beautiful tiled floors. The whole place was so stylish but in an old fashioned way. Our bedroom was huge and they had put the heater on for us arriving. It was lovely and warm,. bed was extremely comfortable and there was lashings of hot wter at all times so lovely hot showers. "I didn’t stay at the property. I intended to make a reservation for four nights at Hotel Plaza Mayor in Madrid, but mistakenly reserved for four nights at the unrelated Hotel Plaza Mayor in Toledo. I called the hotel to fix the mistake, but they refused to refund any of my four nights’ charges, and I had to pay for that as well as four nights’ stay at a different hotel in Madrid."

"First room offered was unusable as under renovation full of building materials and rubble. Second room given was without any form of heating on a cold January with bedding consisting of sheet and blanket. Totally unacceptable so had to find alternative accommodation at another hotel. Having prepaid we want a full refund. "
