"The major advantages of the hotel are its proximity to the old city and a spacious free parking. Rooms are quite big, bathrooms are gorgeous (it is not a joke). Everything is pretty clean. However, a hint of some obsolescence is still present."

Quick response from host when we had questions. Was a bit misled with parking as there is actually no on site parking, just street parking (most of which isn’t free)"

"The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. (before eating at this bar I had had a continental breakfast before leaving the ship at Bilbao) By 02:00hrs diahorrea makes an appearance. "I have used this hotel many times but they have now introduced a virtual key access system to enter the hotel at check in. The system didn’t work and it took over 2 hours, after speaking to numerous people via telephone, to gain access. Never again will I stay here. "
