Très peu de possibilités de restaurations pour qui veut un repas simple. L’hôtel dispose d'un parking très pratique. La présence de la raffinerie et d'une ville peu touristique n'est pas le mieux pour rester dans les environs. Cet hôtel reste pratique pour transiter

Recommended - if you want fine dining

This hotel had an intimate feel. The staff were delightful, our room was OK but it's star attraction was the restaurant which served sophisticated food (not your average steak and chips or tapas). The dining room had a lovely atmosphere even though it was quiet when we stayed. The bar was also tastefully done out, though we were the only drinkers on both nights of our stay. El Morell is not a holiday destination and has few amenities, but it was within easy reach of Tarragona by car. It was a toss up for us whether to stay here or in a more ordinary hotel in Tarragona. I think we made the right call.

Très bonne prestation hôtelière avec petit déjeuner servi a table de grande qualité. Petite piscine sous tonnelle très agréable. Possibilité de visiter l'arrière pays favorisée par son emplacement. Proximité d'une raffinerie pétrolière; pas visible de morell mais le fait de la traversée en arrivant laisse songeur sur l'emplacement de l'hôtel. Une fois sur place: aucune nuisance donc pas de pb.

Lovely Hotel, in very quiet town

Stayed at the hotel after getting a cheap flight into Reus airport. Very easy to get to, about 10 minutes drive on quiet roads. We were a bit worried about the oil refinery mentioned elsewhere - but we hardly noticed it at all, really not an issue. The hotel is Beautiful, I stay at a lot of hotels for work, this was of the highest standard. Breakfast was brilliant (Only 7 course Breakfast I've had!), the pool a nice size and the staff were very helpful (Since we don't speak any Spanish!). Only drawbacks were the beds were a bit firm for our taste, but that's individual and the town was very very quiet - if you want somewhere busy, this isn't the place for you.

Great for couples and foodies

room- lovely, big, comfortable bed and a decent price. Whirlpool fn in our bath didn't work, but was still a big relaxing tub. breakfast- delicious, about 5 courses brought to the table with very attentive staff who made a nice takeaway breakfast pack on the morning we left. Location- need a car unless your planning to laze about the hotel. can do without sat nav if you have a good map (saved a few from google map on the iPad and this was ok) Oil refinery- dont let this put you off, you drive through it to get to the hotel, but it really is pretty at night Pool- nice with nice terrace and sun loungers around. Restaurant- in the Michelin guide 2012, the 1913 menu for €42/44 is worth the price and much better than the cheaper centenari menu, which is more rustic but still a steal at €16. A lot of this menu was not available, however so I would pay the extra £15 for a delicious meal. Recommend the Hazelnut fondant and lemon and choc mousse, yum!

Fantastic hotel, great food!

We stayed for 2 nights, the rooms were great, the hotel was cute. The only thing was that our air conditioner didn't work so it was quite stuffy in the room, an we didn't tell them until the 2nd night so it was never fixed. The food is amazing, breakfast is delicious!! The location is not ideal but we knew that, you will need a car to stay there. Highly recommended hotel!

Delightful surprise, fabulous food, best service

La Grava was the most wonderful surprise though a bit out of town and hard to find without GPS. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted to experience not only the best quality and interesting regional cuisine served with white tablecloth service for dinner, but further delighted to have instead of a standard "continental breakfast", being served instead a sumptuous five-star breakfast the equivalent of a degustation meal, including local handmade specialties, so filling none of us were able to finish all that was offered. Rooms were large and spacious, with cheerful decor, comfortable and clean, and with good clean and well-presented bathrooms. A real gem, with the most helpful staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a grand stay, gave us full directions to all the local sights and made further good suggestions for places we had not expected to discover while there. The Receptionist in particular was a real star, spoke excellent English, helped also in the dining room serving food, translating for the waiters, full marks to her in particular, and to the hotel for the quaity of presentation and service. We left wishing we had booked a much longer stay there.

Hotel Rustica La Grava - nära till golfbanor

Om man vill ha något mer än ett "vanligt" hotell är Rustica La Grava helt perfekt. Beläget med närhet till många golfbanor och bara 10 minuter in till Tarragona är detta en pärla med sin helt perfekta service. Allt ifrån skyddad parkering, en underbar pool, designade rum, till en underbart trevlig personal. Frukosten som serveras vid bordet i den mycket vackra matsalen, alltså ingen buffet, är inne-hållsrik med det mesta man kan önska sig framburen av trevlig personal. El Morell som plats är kanske inte den vackraste men har 2 riktiga höjdare till restauranger och givetvis en massa små barer. Rustica La Gravas restaurang är toppklass med en både intressant meny som en fantastisk vinlista som givetvis toppas av de närbelägna Priorat-vinerna och de från Monsanto. Högtidsstund för en vinälskare. Vi återkommer gärna till Rustica La Grava.
