"Even though we reserved a room 3 months in advance we were given a room facing the street. We then requested a room toward the back but were told the street noise would end around 9 pm. "This is one of the most intriguing hotels we have encountered. A complex facility with numerous beautiful courtyards. The Zorro show was well-paced and just the right length. Meals were excellent."

"The garden was beautiful. The room big enough, but the doors don't seem secure with the ancient locking hardware. The lighting in the room left a great deal to be desired. Good coffee, but not free."
