Paint peeling of walls, dirty pillows and scruffy blankets. We paid for a superior apartment however no idea what was superior about it. Hotel needs closing down for a few months for an overall revamp and update "

"Great Apt, clean, beautiful view over the golf course and mountains/sea beyond, very quiet so slept unusually well (it was late April and quiet in the resort), indoor pool to ourselves & lovely swim, super 3 course meal (3 choices for each course) & fab breakfast buffet plus lovely staff. Never felt so relaxed in a hotel, but maybe got lucky with it being a quiet month. "

"We rented a two bed apartment for 3 weeks in February. The building has 6 apartments and looks very tired looking from the exterior, certainly not like the images portrayed when browsing the property online. However, the apartment itself was spotlessly clean, well equipped for our needs, and the housekeeping staff were excellent, as we're the management company who look after the property. Our only complaint, apart from the exterior appearance, was that the bathroom would have that stale water...

"The furnishings are a bit dated but overall the apartments are big and comfortable with a good balcony. The swimming pool is the best we have ever experienced catering for children and adults. It is huge and is thoroughly cleaned every day before opening including all the sunbeds being hosed down . Roquetas does suffer from high winds when the sea is not good for swimming so to have this wonderful pool is a bonus."

Staff were very helpful but I wish I could speak Spanish but they tried their best with our English. Free parking next to apartments although secure parking is available in basement. "Nice apartment, just needs attention to detail. Eg 1 wine glass, crack in coffee pot. 1 flat pillow each. Overall value for money. Just one point, the office does not open until 4pm (check in time ) so don't bother getting there any earlier. "
