"La Paila is hands down the best place we have ever stayed. The view is unmatched. We felt like royalty on top of the mountain. Maria and Grace were so sweet. The maintenance man knocked down coconuts for us and cut them so we cools drink the water out. Andy and Christine were quick to reply to any questions. This place truly is paradise "

"What an incredible property! Breathtaking views and privacy. The house itself is perfect, has everything you need. The only thing that was challenging was no air conditioning at night, it was very warm and a bit hard to sleep. Also, be ready for the drive up to the house, it’s a bit scary at times and you definitely need a powerful 4 x 4 - our RAV 4 barely got the job done! Overall, just an awesome experience and concierge and owners were great. "

"Our stay in Samara was wonderful! The house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy yourself on vacation. Beach chairs, beach towels, small cooler and even some beach toys. The house is set back off the road and it is incredibly private and peaceful. It was always a joy to come back home. We loved our cow and horse neighbors-it was so fun to see them everyday. It was also fun watching the toucan’s play in the treetops. Could not have asked for a better vacation property! Thank you Nury! "

"We recently stayed at Casa Suarez, and overall had a pleasant experience. The property was clean and generally as described in the listing. We felt very safe during our stay, and the host was excellent with communication — responsive and helpful.The home is located about a 10-minute drive from Sámara, so it’s convenient if you have a vehicle. A rental car is definitely needed to get to the beach, restaurants, and shops. There is a mini mart within walking distance that was very well stocked.The outdoor space and pool were highlights of our stay — we really enjoyed relaxing there. One thing future guests should be aware of is that there is noticeable noise from nearby traffic, barking dogs, and chickens, particularly at certain times of day.The reliability of the utilities during our stay, caused some inconvenience, but this is to be expected in Costa Rica, and the host did make efforts to address the issue.Overall, this is a good option for travelers who plan to have a car and don’t mind some typical rural noise while staying near Sámara."

"Amazing views! Beautiful home in a convenient location to Samara and many outstanding beaches. Saw lots of wildlife every day. There were monkeys next to the driveway and hummingbirds at the feeder all the time. The kitchen was well-equipped, although we used it sparingly, and the separated bedrooms worked well for our group (two adult couples). When at the house, we spent most of our time on the back patio and in the pool, enjoying the magnificent ocean view. The host and management company were very responsive from first contact to checkout. I can’t wait to stay here again. "
