We loved the historic charm of this guest house, it truly gave us the feeling of stepping back in time in the old Medina. The rooms were clean and peaceful, the Moroccan breakfast was delicious, and the staff were kind, humble, and always helpful. The entrance felt a little uncomfortable at first, but once inside, the atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. A unique and memorable Moroccan experience....

"A charming and well run Riad on the outskirts of the Medina. The room was comfortable with incredible views. The location was very convenient for exploring the Medina and the staff were lovely and welcoming. The food served in their restaurant was delicious and they have the best harira soup in town! I would definitely recommend this Riad and would stay here again."

"We had a really nice stay at Riad Taryana. The location was very convenient and close to most of our meeting points, which made getting around the Medina much easier. The owners were very kind and welcoming. They would often come and chat with us while we were having breakfast, which made the stay feel very personal and friendly. Breakfast was also great — if we let them know what time we planned to come down, they would usually have it ready for us before we even arrived. The owner was also kind enough to upgrade our room for free since there was availability, which we really appreciated. The room had hot water and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One thing to keep in mind is that there are quite a few stairs and some of them are steep, so it may be something to consider if you have difficulty with stairs. The riad is located right in the old Medina, but we personally felt safe during our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and especially appreciated how kind and welcoming the owners were. A great option if you want to stay right in the Medina and be close to everything."
