"Stayed 4 nights in the Amatista villa. Beautiful views of the lake and a the volcano. Twice sure our stay after the rains vibrant rainbows would appear across the lake. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner, breakfast was included with our stay. Found it to be very windy on that side of the lake but would definitely recommend for those looking for somewhere a little quieter but still fairly close to attractions. "

"The room was clean and spacious. The property is amazing with nature trails right outside your cabin and a beautiful garden with a talking parrot. The hotel/restaurant also has a few chickens and a turkey. The food at the restaurant was so authentic and some of the best food we ate in Costa Rica. I definitely recommend the tilapia. We ate at the restaurant for 3 of the 4 meals that we had when we were in the area because of how good and convenient it was. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive and authentic place to stay."

"My family talked about our wonderful stay here the entire trip. The grounds are incredible! I loved sitting in the rocking chair listening to the man-made waterfall, discovering the rock path with jaw dropping beauty at every turn and enjoying the refreshing pool. The hosts are amazing as well! They truly love showing the place. Breakfast was fantastic and they were so gracious to give us seconds on smoothies. If we are lucky enough to come back to Costa Rica, we know where to stay!"

"Joel at the front desk was very friendly and amazing. Although we stayed only for one night, the hospitality we received was great. The breakfast was served on the table with plenty of items. Joel offered plenty of advice for visiting the national park, the general safety tips, etc. The views were breathtaking, wish we stayed longer. "

"The property is so quaint and so cute! It is close to restaurants, fruit, market, Rio, Celeste, and other coffee tours and sloth tours. Beautiful space, host responds quickly and the bathroom is stunning. Great choice!"

"The staff is great! It was a wonderful stay close to so many places; coffee, caña and chocolate tour; sloth tour. Town is very close and close to so many authentic restaurants. Just bring your own shampoos. "
