Nice central hotel

The hotel is fine. Nice rooms nothing fancy. The bed is very good. Windows can open, but there is no hook to keep it open. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choices, fresh fruit and good quality of the bread, cheese, yoghurt..

Nice hotel in historic Eksjö

Very nice older hotel in the centre of historic Eksjö. We booked for three adults in one room and got an extra bed that was too hard to sleep on. Unless you like very hard beds, we advice you to check and ask for extra mattress to the extra bed. Besides that, we had a very good stay!

Old rooms but great service.

The hotel was ok, up to expectations but quite old interior and would need a renovation and upgrade to get full pott. But the staff was friendly and service was to its finest. Breakfast was nice and satisfying.

Eftersom det var ett bröllop på kvällen när vi kom fick vi flytta till ett annat hotel som hörde till Eksjö stadshotell och heter hotell Vaxblekaren. Det var nytt och fräscht och jättelugnt. Tack till hotellet som lät oss flytta.

Det är första gången som jag har bott på ett hotell där man inte får öppna fönstret, ”det var en tropisk natt under boendet”för att det var så ruttet att det är risk att det ramlar ner på gatan.Rummet var trångt och väggarna svartmålade med endast en tavla på väggarna,men sängen var mjuk och skön.Det fanns ingen apelsinjuice till frukosten,vilket jag aldrig har upplevt i mitt liv under alla 100 tas hotellnätter som jag har upplevt,jag antar att det är en besparing pga prishöjningen av apelsinjuicen.Dessutom var frukostandelningen mycket bullrig och underdimensionerad med avseende på antalet gäster,svårt att hitta ett bord. För övrigt trevlig personal och suveränt läge på hotellet

Tyvärr ingen daglig städning, inga avställningsytor på rummet, små handdukar. Frukost lite kaotiskt. Svårt för personalen att hinna med. Väldigt mycket folk i matsalen under frukost. Ohygieniskt med gemensamma och kladdiga smörbyttor av olika sorter. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal!!!

Ok, men trenger en kjærlig hånd !

Fint sted midt i byen. Men hotellet kunne trenge til en ordentlig hånd. Skjønner det skal være gammel bevart stil, men det går an og pusse opp vegge, vaske tepper, vinduer, fikse blomster og små skader. Og ordne gjestedoen i resepsjonen som står og forfaller. Kunne vært enda koseligere om hotellet ble passet bedre på. Rommene var fine og sengen go. Savner mer finesse til frokosten.. og at baren ikke stengte kl 22 som resten av byen :( Personalet vi mødte på smilte og var vennlig, utenom en eldre herre i baren (så alltid veldig sur og misfornøyd ut). Kommer gjerne tilbake, men da MÅ det pusses opp lidt.

Ok hotel til prisen.

Helt okay hotel, i skønne omgivelser. Eksjö er en dejlig lille by. Til prisen var hotellet fint, det var rent og pænt. Dog larmede køleskabet fuldstændigt forfærdeligt, og det samme med ventilationen, som ikke kunne slukkes. Morgenmaden er middelmådig, det meste kunne godt have været tilberedt lidt længere. Halvrå pandekager, bacon og helt våde scrambeleggs. Brød, pålæg osv. Var udemærket. Der er mange restauranter og indkøbsmuligheder lige i nærheden, hvilket var super.

Centralt vid torget och lätt att parkera

I förhållande till priset: Rummets planering inte den bästa. Utspridda sittplatser och inget litet soffbord trots att plats egentligen finns. Ingen avställningsyta i badrummet - behöver fixas till. Noterade att utrymningsplan inte hunnit sättas upp på dörrens insida som brukligt. Rummet mörkt pga av ena fönstret igensatt - tillfälligt pga renovering? Personalen var dock trevlig och tillmötesgående. Frukosten helt OK.

Vi påtalade att fläkten på rummet inte fungerade ordentligt, och önskade få den utbytt. Fanns inga reserver tydligen, helt ok, men en vaktmästare skulle laga den under dagen. Det var inte gjort, och heller inget meddelande eller liknande. Det hela kändes väldigt slött och ointresserat. Helt ok vistelse, men kommer nog inte aktivt söka mig dit igen.

Greit, men eldre hotell. Pluss for minikjøleskap og vifte på rommet, og at hotellet har en bar. Sentral beliggenhet. Koselig by, men lite å se/gjøre. Frokosten var ikke helt topp, men grei. Ikke AC på rommet, så det var VARMT om natten.

Vi såg fram emot en trevlig övernattning med bokat bord i hotellets restaurang. Hotelrummet och frukostmatsalen trevliga men servicen i kvällsrestaurangen på kvällen var inte vad vi förväntade oss. Vi reserverade bord minst en månad innan som var registrerad men inget bord fanns för oss två personer reserverat utan erbjöds enstaka bord vid baren som fanns över och inte där alla satt på glasverandan. Detta gjorde vårt besök till mindre lyckad och vi är fundersamma över hur hotellets restaurang planerar för sina gäster. Bättring behövs!
