The best area to stay in Eiði is within the village centre itself, particularly near the harbour and the main road, Eiðisvegur.

The village centre of Eiði is compact and offers a genuine experience of Faroese village life. It's built around the harbour and a few main streets, with traditional brightly coloured houses and views towards the dramatic surrounding cliffs and the ocean. You'll find the local church, a small grocery shop, and a couple of places to eat here. The football pitch, famous for its scenic location, is also easily accessible from this area.

For couples looking for a tranquil escape, staying in a guesthouse or a holiday home within the village centre provides a private and comfortable base. You'll be well-placed for walks along the coast, exploring the village's quiet streets, and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere away from larger towns.

Solo travellers will also find the village centre convenient.
