"The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Puglia by car, although it is a bit far from the old town. The staff was friendly and provided good customer service, and the breakfast was acceptable with enough options to start the day. The main drawbacks were the very small bathroom and the air conditioning, which didn’t cool the room well and made the room uncomfortable, especially at night. Overall, it was a decent stay, but improving the room amenities would make the experience much better."

"The place is isolated, quiet, great amenities. The hotel is in an olive orchard which is awesome, so quiet and relaxing. The pool is massive, has a bar and the staff is great! A shuttle takes you to and from the beach club, which I thought would be a bit of an inconvenience, but they do not only stick to the schedule, they can also arrive early if you ask. "Whilst a little tricky to find at first (a few extra signs from the SS16/E55 main road would be HUGELY helpful) we fell in love with Il Trappetello! There is a rustic charm that is difficult to find, made all the more perfect by an amazing on property team led by Mario. Special shout out also to Franko who seemed to be omni present 24/7, and our cleaner whose name escapes us (Roberta?) who was always on hand and so eager to please. You'd be also hard pushed to find a better location from which to base yourself and explore the many beautiful towns of Puglia. Thanks so much to you all. XXX"
