Vacation apartment Am Wasserrad West, 75sqm living space with large, covered south-facing balcony

The Huberhof in Meisham is a former farmhouse situated in an idyllic and very quiet location about 2 km north of Eggstätt—ideal for up to 2 people seeking peace and relaxation. Biking and hiking trails start right outside the front door. Lake Hartsee, with its recreational and swimming areas, is a 25-minute walk away. Both holiday apartments feature a beautiful south-facing balcony offering an unobstructed view of the forest and a small section of the Chiemgau Alps. The farm is no longer in operation and serves solely as a residential building. A parking space is available for you in the courtyard. There is a lockable storage area for any bicycles you bring with you.
The holiday rental is located on the ground floor of a traditional Chiemgau farmhouse and is accessible via a separate entrance. The 75-square-meter apartment features a fully equipped kitchen, a cosy living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. A covered south-facing balcony measuring 15 square metres is the perfect spot to relax. The decor is bright and inviting. The bedroom features a double bed (160 x 200), an open closet, and a Biedermeier sofa. Blackout curtains ensure a good night’s sleep. The small bathroom has a shower, a toilet, and a sink. The well-equipped kitchen, featuring a refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, sink, and kitchenware, is connected to the living room. A small supply of common condiments such as salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil is provided. A corner bench with a table and two chairs is perfect for cosy meals. The living room features a sofa with two armchairs and three pieces of Chinese furniture from our time in China. There is a TV and a digital radio. Towels and bed linens are provided. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, and smoking is not permitted in the apartment.


Surrounded by a charming landscape of forests, lakes, and mountains, Eggstätt/Meisham a peaceful and natural setting that is ideal for rest and relaxation. Its proximity to Lake Chiemsee, the “Bavarian Sea,” makes it a popular destination for nature lovers and water sports enthusiasts. Eggstätt is located on the edge of Bavaria’s largest nature reserve. The Eggstätt/Hemhof Lake District comprises 17 idyllic glacial lakes—ideal for hiking, biking, and relaxing. Biking and hiking trails start right at your doorstep. The Hartsee, with its recreational area, is a 25-minute walk away.
